Excellent vegan options! - Edit
My sister and I, both vegan, were staying with our other sister in Carimate and were elated to find out that there was a restaurant in this small town that offered vegan options! We let the restaurant manager know of our dietary needs when we made the reservation, and we were not disappointed: the chef had several options available for us to choose from, and it was delicious (stewed lentils with cherry tomatoes, penne with fresh artichokes, penne with fresh asparagus) and we also had lemon-lavender sorbet, to close a great meal in triumph! In an area where the local cuisine is unfortunately animal products centered, it was refreshing to be able to have a “real vegan meal” and not a salad or some grilled veggies as “vegan option”! On top of everything, the price at lunch was unbelievably reasonable, and the setting fabulous, in front of the Castle of Carimate, beautiful and charming still, after 1000 years!

Sono venuta in questo ristorante per un pranzo di lavoro. Ho avvertito prima che ero vegana e ho trovato subito grande disponibilità da parte del personale.
Read moreMi è stato fatto un menù a parte dedicato con la scelta tra 7 piatti diversi e tutti molto accattivanti.
Cucina e ingredienti di prima categoria, mi sento davvero di consigliarlo, non è facile trovare un ristorante con una cucina prettamente basata su derivati animali che riesca a reinventarsi e tirarti fuori certi piatti. Veramente complimenti!
