Calle Officios #12, entre Obisbo y Orapia, Havana, La Habana Vieja, Cuba, Caribbean,
Serves meat, vegan options available. In the heart of old town tourist area, this Lebanese restaurant serves a good vegetable mezze in their courtyard for around 10 CUC. Removed due to poor veg options.

Al Medina, Havana - Edit
I went in here yesterday for lunch. Its an arab restaurant and a section on the menu dedicated to chicken, a section dedicated to lamb, a section dedicated to seafood, and something I have to confess I didn't expect to see, a section dedicated to beef. Then comes the vego part; there's a section on the menu labelled vegetarian. The Vego section of the menu has an entire, ahem, 1 dish, namely the vegetarian meze.
Why this temple to the eating of slaughtered animals is listed on happy cow I have no idea.
Cons: Shouldn't be on happy cow, Meat dishes galore, Only 1 vego dish

worth looking for - Edit
I ate here two days in a row while in cuba. As a vegan, you will find in hard to come by food other than vegetable sandwiches and salads. Al Medina came by surprise and is worth looking for. Its nestled on a side street in Old Havana (Veija). For $7.50 you get a plate of 3 small falafals, tabouli (diced tomatoes in lemon juice), hummus (blended chick peas with garlic), pita bread, some marinated cabbage, and beans and fresh mango juice. Remember, cuba doesn't have access to expensive ingredients like tahini. It wasnt the best mediteranean i have had, but hit the spot.
Pros: one vegan option, flavourful
Cons: lack of traditional ingredients
