Khan I Come Here Everyday?

Outrageous fruit salad. Not everyday does a review start with lauding such a traditionally benign dish, but here we are, and there I was, ecstatic at the notion that if this was indicative of what lay ahead, I was in for one heck of a start to the day.
That optimism was indeed well founded as this was a spread that just kept on giving. With cereal options aplenty, not one, but three milk alternatives readily accessible, and bread selection that would put a bakery to shame, I was near euphoric before I had even begun to explore the cooked elements of the buffet.
When I did finally deign to plough into the more substantial dishes, my levels of satisfaction didn’t wane in the slightest. In fact, it’s fair to say it actually increased. Soup with depth, curry with balance, and foul with richness - the hits just kept on coming. Even the curious looking baked beans had uniqueness to them that made them a cut above the norm. Yet, as superb as all the above were, none of them took my fancy quite as much as the puri. Quite easily the best I’ve ever had, to say that were addictive would be a wild understatement. Evidently I wasn’t the only one completely enamoured with these fried discs of delight, as no sooner were a fresh batch served up, there was a gaggle of eager punters swarming the platter snaffling all that they could reasonably (sometimes unreasonably) fit on their plates.
Undeniably great, this stylish, comfortable restaurant is a destination that is soundly in my go-to places when in this emirate.
