Vegan arabian food oasis in Rio Hacha - Edit
Rio Hacha is a nice small Colombian town to visit for a day or two, passing to and from the tourist destinations in Alta Guajira of Cabo de la Vela and Punta Gallinas. But you would not expect to find something so exotic as great Arabian food there - and with vegan options - but at Al Arz, there it is. I get the Vegetarian Plate version 2, which has a bit of everything (see pictures). Also their Yerba Buena Lemonade is excellent, which goes really well with the food. If you have been on the road in Colombia for a while and want a real shift from the limited regular vegan options in the country, Al Arz is a really welcome opportunity for a filling, nutritious and tasty meal.

delicious Lebanese food - Edit
There is several vegan/vegetarian options and they are clearly marked, so no long searching. The food is delicious. I had a mixed vegetarian plate and therefore could try several things, they have on the menu. I loved it all, except that the salad had a bit too much lemon. The portion was big, but not for an empty vegan stomach ;)

The only place for a vegan in this town - Edit
We went here in the first place only because it was the only place to find in Riohacha that could serve descent food for non meat eaters. We normally don't make reviews of places that serves meat, but here we'll make an exception to help our vegetarian and vegan people traveling to Guaijra, closer to the desert of Colombia. We ended up visiting this place up to 7 times, some days more than once. We tried all their vegan options and they actually do present a great selection. All of it tastes amazing, with good seasoning and fresh products have been used. Really good service. This is the go to place in this town so far. Lots of love
