Well. Having owned a butchery, ..., meat omnipresent! - Edit
With a reservation stating clearly being vegans I expect staff and owner - with whom I made the reservation - beeing informed and having options available, at least.

Expensive but worth it - Edit
This is the most prestigious restaurant in Zug. It's fancy and expensive, but worth it in my opinion. They are very accommodating to vegans and are happy to answer all questions. When I was there, they had one vegan dish only in the menu but I'm sure they are flexible and can arrange something else if needed. It was very tasty, the atmosphere is great and it's a good place to bring your omnivore friends, family and work colleagues. Will surely go there again.

That menu in this restaurant changes every season so, but at least the spring menu had quite a lot of good vegan options. The cooking was great (except for the camargue rice which was just okay), the presentation impeccable and the interior in the old town had a nice atmosphere, albeit quite loud.
