Good home-cooked fresh food - Edit

Aingels cafe bistro is a great place to go for home-cooked vegan dishes. There is a large selection of vegan items on the specials board as well as a fantastic range of vegan (and often gf) cakes. Smoothies and milkshakes available as well as vegan cheese and ice cream. The service is warm and friendly and there is a relaxed vibe.

I only gave 4 stars because it is not a completely vegan establishment.

Hidden Gem in Basingstoke - Edit

I've eaten here a few times now. The choice for vegans is outstanding, they always have a massive range of constantly changing specials for vegans, covering so many different types of food. Last time we had a thai burger which had a large and very tasty patty and sauce, chips that were cooked to perfection. We also had a fajita tortia lasagna which was unique and so so tasty.

They always have a few vegans cakes too.
I'd highly recommend a visit here, it's inexpensive, friendly and has a great range of vegan options.

Pros: Large range of vegan options (10-15 specials)

Great place for cake and lots of vegan options. - Edit

The menu is always changing and there is usually at least 7 vegan dishes, all about £7, the burger is great, as is the spaghetti and meatballs. The cakes are the show stoppers, both cupcakes £1 and large sliced cakes £1.50 the Neapolitan is amazing, and very sweet. They offer a variety of plant milks, like soya and almond. They also have about small 5 dogs, who may greet you when you enter, they are very well behaved. They also serve meat, and traditional fare to regular local customers. But the demand for vegan food and cakes keeps rising. The staff are lovely too. Mostly good for a lunch stop, as the hours are mostly work times, and Saturday, they are usually closed on Sunday.

Pros: Affordable cakes, Lovely staff and dogs, Expansive vegan menu

Cons: Also serves non-veggie, Wish it was open Sundays, Could use more recycled packaging

Great vegan food - Edit

it's my favorite vegan friendly restaurant in Basingstoke.

I love the atmosphere, very family like. The owner and the staff are friendly and warm.

I also find the vegan food to be great. There are plenty of options, and not just boring meat-meant-to-be stuff with the meat taken out. Every vegan dish is designed to be vegan.
And there are always at least 3 different types of vegan cupcakes (and other vegan desserts), which are delicious.

Last, but not least, is pricing. It is very great value for the money that you pay. I was pleasantly surprised when I went to pay my bill the first time, and I go very often ever since.

A must!

Pros: Friendly atmosphere, So many vegan choices, Very convenient prices

Cons: Easy to reach by car, probably less easy otherwise
