Amazing - so much love in every bite

Everything we tried on the menu was phenomenal, the pina “cool” ada smoothie, the pumpkin spice kobocha smoothie, the medi bowl, the Outat This Swirled really stole the show!

Pros: expansive healthy menu, super fresh ingredients, wonderful vibe

Added honey to our banana soft serve

We wanted to go to Ai Love Nalo for a week and finally made the trek over to that side of Oahu.

The menu options look healthy but after we did our hike at Lanikai Pill Box, we just wanted to try their soft serve banana ice cream.

The Vegan nice cream is served with banana, our house made granola, cacao coco flakes, and chocolate "magic shell" sauce, and mixed nuts. We didn't see the word 'honey' on their list of ingredients online or in person when they told us the toppings.

Upon closer inspection when we received our nice cream cups, we noticed some kind of clear liquid that was drizzled in the middle of the nice cream sundae. Luckily for us they used a clear cup to serve it or we may not have spotted the honey.

I went back up to ask them what they added to our nice cream, hoping it was agave syrup, but nope it was honey.

They were confused by me mentioning that we thought it was all vegan, so we would like our cups remade with no honey. But considering they used honey as a topping, we don't know if the granola they used had honey. It didn't taste of a honey aftertaste, but we aren't sure.

Anyways pretty upset the honey was added because the nice cream was already good as it was.

Pros: Good nice cream, Outdoor location

Cons: Used honey when it was not listed as an ingredient, Confused at our request to omit the honey

Great food and space

Beautiful outdoor space and great food. We got the scramble with coconut bacon, the ginger tea and Pina colada smoothie. Everything was great. Ginger tea had bits in it which helped my tummy. The patio is great and huge. Would be an awesome spot for a larger gathering.

Pros: Patio, All vegan, Food

Family Friendly & Local

Love that food sovereignty and access to healthy food is such a core part of this business. There’s also tons of seating in the back and it’s a great spot to let the kids run around with a couple of toys and games set up. The ‘Ulu chowder was incredible and the parfait was filling. Most of the food you can order in small portion sizes because a little goes a long way. Still have plenty more dishes to try and I’m happy to see vegan options in this area!
