Very good middle eastern/asian cuisine - Edit

Ahimsa is a nice place in a nice neighborhood. They have a good amount of tables outside so that you can enjoy the hip street life here.

The menu has foods from middle eastern to far eastern (asian) cuisine and offers a nice variety. I absolutely recommend their homemade falafel plate which tastes even more amazing with their parsley smoothie as a drink. Also the Indian thali, where you can choose two of their curries and get some salads and dessert in addition is a nice choice. The prices are okay for Wroclaw, about 25-30 zloty for a whole meal (about 15 zloty for a falafel sandwich) and given the quality of the food, they are actually good.

Pros: Very good falafel, Nice selection of foods

Essential vegan spot - Edit

Probably because of its location and open hours, I end up in Ahimsa more than any other vegan restaurant or cafe in Wrocław. I feel like it's the same for many vegans in town. It doesn't always happen because of food though, after they changed the menu in particular. It's not bad, just not my thing I guess... Thanks to Ahimsa, I realized in full that Indian cuisine isn't necessarily my favorite :) "Wolna Palestyna" which is always available never fails though, just as their wraps! Please bring sushi back 🙏🏻

I do like and recommend the place though.

Not my taste - Edit

I love Indian cuisinie, but didn't particurarly like these dishes. Tempeh was good, but the sauce "5 smaków" was average. Vegetables were too spicy and tofu with tomato sauce too ordinary. However the dessert was amazing. I would still go there again to try other main dishes.

Pros: Lots of space, Dessert

Cons: Taste of the dishes that I tried

advisable - Edit

At first you should now, you have to take the menu from the cash/orderpoint. That was something new for us, and we felt a little bit indignant.
The local is one of a typical urbanrestaurants, alternatives influences. But it don't try to much to be hip and cool. Thats an effect of the extraordinary service, very friendly and warm, absolutely commendable!
Now to the main part, the food: Yummy, a praise to the chefs! We had styr fried vegetables in a peanut sauce with tofu and noodles and an arabic bread with tempeh. The tempeh was well seasoned and crispy, the bread was wonderful soft, the peanut sauce was a dream, like the rest of the menu. This was not our last visit and a rewardingly first day in Wrocław.

Pros: English Menu , pretty good services , fair prices

Vegan Middle East and Indian cuisine - Edit

One of the biggest vegan and vegetarian places in Wrocław. Good hummus, fantastic soups, wraps and deserts. The portions are huge but sometimes too spicy. They also have a selection of beers and non-alcohol drinks. Unfortunately the place is not super comfortable and the interior could be better.

Can't miss it when in Wrocław - Edit

Ahimsa offers delicious eastern food. Thali tastes as not vegan Indian Thali, Dosa also is fantastic, and Wolna Palestyna (Free Palestine in English), the dish made with hummus and falafels was also amazing! The cake called Leśny Mech (Forest Moss in English) was gorgeous! Service was nice and the environment was cosy. I think it is a great place to visit when you are in Wrocław! You can eat here your favourite eastern dishes made vegan!

Pros: Tasty food, great eastern dishes, nice location

great! - Edit

Great place with variety of dishes from all over the world and international crew of cooks. It is open late and it's often only place in Wrocław open when you look for something vegan in the evenings. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They also serve very good, local craft beer.

Excellent. - Edit

I've been several times to that restaurant and always found the employees incredibly kind and friendly, the food tasty.
I mostly ate the various burgers and a wrap, all excellent.
One of the "batons" (bar) made of chocolate, nuts, peanut butter, etc. was amazing.

They have various choices of sweets with and without gluten (specified) and some without sugar.

Chilli sauce is optional - it can be very hot (but I like it so) according to who serves you.

The service is sometimes a little bit slow simply due to the fact that the place can be very busy but it wasn't bothering me at all.

Pros: Great food., Large choice., Friendly personal.

Wonderful meal - Edit

I enjoyed a wonderful meal at Ahimsa on a day where all of my must-visit restaurants in the city were closed for refurbishments or holidays. The falafel is excellent and I enjoyed the flatbreads and babaganoush that accompanied it. The cake I tried, a chocolate berry torte, was also fantastic. Everyone working there was friendly too and I loved how cool their basement was on a hot summers day!

The best thali outside India - Edit

The second 100% vegan place that opened this year in Wroclaw.

I had a the thali with rice, lentils, chick peas and coconuts/nut sauce. It was an explosion of all favours. I have not had anything that is a vegan take on South-Indian cuisine that was genuine like this and I have very high demands on Indian cuisine.

There hummous and falafel plate is called "Wolny Palestina" (Transl. Free Palestine) and details like that is always nice for progressive vegans :)

Service was a bit slow, they told us they didn't have a tempeh dish called Sizzler, but it was served to the next table. So we could change our order in the end.

A lot of food, but it is also more expensive then other vegan restaurants.
