Awful service, average food - Edit

We were very happy to find this place just down the road from where we were staying. The first time we went it was good - our drinks came in 10 minutes and tasted really good. However, when we went today we ordered food as well as drinks and were left waiting more than an hour for it to come out. People who arrived 20 minutes after us has payed and left before we went up and asked what was happening. They didn’t provide any explanation and brought out some very average pieces of toast with hummus. Certainly not worth the wait, and unlike a previous review I saw we were not given any sort of discount despite waiting for so long. Would totally recommend this place if just for morning tea - do not come for meals!!!

Pros: good location

Cons: Long wait for food, Very overpriced

Bright and vibrant outdoor cafe - Edit

Quaint little outdoor cafe. 5-10 minute walk from the beach. Friendly staff and very tasty/healthy food. I ordered the 'ahimsa' (Pasta, potato, hummus, beetroot, carrot, falafel, tofu, tomato) and homemade lemonade. Lovely fresh ingredients and well presented. Main was 750 and lemonade was 400.

Pros: friendly staff big portion well priced quality ing

Cons: none

Great concept, poor delivery... - Edit

I can’t begin to tell you the excitement I had to find this place, it’s a little oasis in the middle of chaotic Mirissa!! Excellent concept the only vegan only cafe around for miles!! However, the delivery and by delivery I mean service needs massive work, granted it’s relatively new and I get it they will have hiccups and the food when it eventually showed up after an hour plus of waiting as we saw tables come and go and get their food way before us - was very tasty but seriously the worst service I’ve ever had, granted they gave us our drinks on the house because they had forgotten about our food, there was no apology when I went to ask for the where about of our food, just , 3 girls in the kitchen chatting, eating and forgetting about their customers and how important service is, sadly I was looking forward to this place so much so it’s left me with a massive bitter taste in my mouth!! And yes, perhaps we were the only ones that had been forgotten about and perhaps I had built it up to much but when after I had said our food hadn’t arrived instead of them making it straight away and getting it out to us ASAP like any other establishment would, we still continued to see other tables food arrive before us! This makes me sad and needs work on and a better system putting into place, maybe I had to many high expectations but after some of the service we’ve had in Sri Lanka this was possibly the worst-sad times!! Work on the service and keep up the good food and you’ve got a little gem on your hands!!

Pros: Tasty food , Excellent concept

Cons: Bad service

vegan miracle in Mirissa - Edit

We love Sri Lanka but it was struggle with food until we found this place! We were lucky and had a chance to eat 3 courses dinner. Normaly they have only lunch. And it was heaven! 😍 green salad with couscous, beetroots(..) then crispy tofu with potato-beetroot pure and finely delicious brownie🤤
We came back for lunch 😁😃 hummus toast and ahimsa bowl. Also they have good coffee☕️

Pros: very tasty, healthy food

Cons: it’s not visible enough, we almost missed it

Tofu breakfast is really tasty and coffee is great. Will definitely be going back for more.
