Pleasant Experience of New Dushes - Edit
We were also here during low season (dry season) I dispute the previous review.. why would you return to eat at a place if it was ‘unappetising’ when there are other options in the area….
Read moreAnyways - we stopped here for lunch on the way to Pha Daeng National Park.
Very little English spoken, there were maybe 10 - 12 dishes on offer, I could not tell you officially what they are called but I’ll provide a description below for what me and my friend got. All were pleasant enough and as far as I could make out all were vegan.
A dish with artichoke, nuts and fried bean curd skin.
Stewed aubergine dish similar to a Laotian Or Lam.
Deep fried braised ‘suji’ a Chinese mock meat and bean curd.
A dish with spherical mock meat balls (I cannot recall the name) and mock meat sausages with other veg in.
A pulled jackfruit dish.
Stir fried yellow noodle dish with beans, veg and mock meatballs
Aubergine stew of some unknown description
Pros: All vegetarian/vegan, Local, New dishes I’ve not previously had
Cons: Not knowing exactly what was in each dish

Unappetizing - Edit
Are here twice and both times found the food nearly inedible—way too much oil, salt, sugar, and seasoning. It was like eating a plate of sauce. We were here during burning season, when a lot of restaurants reduce their services and options, so maybe it’s better during other times of year when there are more people. After two bad meals here we decided we’d rather just have fruit for dinner.

Common Vegetarian Buffet, very friendly Lady - Edit
The buffet is a variety of maybe 8 dishes, mostly mock meats. I had a plate with 3 dishes, rice plus 2 mock meats and glass noodles, all were pretty tasty! The price was 50 Baht for rice plus 3 dishes, and it was quite filling.

OK - Edit
Has a fairly small selection of pre-made dishes and large seating area. A few snacks available to buy. All food appears to be vegan but some other products are not as they had non-vegan Lactasoy in the fridge. Located just past the town on the left when coming from Chiang Mai.

Cons: Very basic
