Authentic Thai Veg

Typical Thai vegetarian (Jay) "cheap eats" restaurant. Tasty, authentic Thai cuisine. Large, open air with fans (no Air-Con but comfortable enough) with plenty of seating. Nice staff with limited English, though enough if one doesn't speak Thai.

If no Thai language skills, just point out the items from the quick dish-up buffet.

Pros: Vegan, Tasty , Inexpensive

Cons: No Air-Con but comfy and airy

Delicious, cheap, English service

I just had a lovely lunch here. A hearty portion of rice plus two dishes chosen from the buffet. One of the dishes was a vegan version of larb and it was really tasty. There was a lady there who spoke English really well and was careful to make sure that I understood that it was a vegetarian restaurant and that I was okay to eat spicy food. She also gave me ice water, a warm soup with cilantro, and a bowl of lettuce. 40 Baht. I'll be back for sure. I made a Youtube video about this place if you'd like to check it out. Also, please note that the lady there told me that the name of the restaurant is Sing Sing Jay.

Pros: Yummy, Spicy, English service

High Quality เจ food

If you like Thai food, this is a really great place. Within walking distance of Central Plaza if you go through the market street, this is a really great place with a lot of choice. Has some pretty spicy options, so if you're not used to that you can just ask "Ped Mai?" which means "Spicy?" and they'll let you know "mai ped/not spicy", "ped/spicy" or "ped mah/very spicy". Go here for a more traditional Jay experience.

Pros: Everything's vegan, Good location, Delicious traditional Thai cuisine

Thai style vegan restaurant with packaged and frozen food for sale

this is a very basic, cheap, Thai style vegan restaurant (choice of two dishes with rice ฿35) ... there is also mock meat (sausage and balls) on wood skewers for sale ... the food is cooked out the back and displayed in a bain marie at the front of the restaurant however the food is not kept heated rather it is served at room temperature ... there is a lot of packaged and cold vegan food for sale ... staff speak basic English and are friendly and helpfull

Pros: its cheap vegan food and located 7 minutes walk fr

Cons: food served at room temperature

Inexpensive, easy to find, and reasonable food

I found this place exactly where it is shown on the map. There are flags and banners in Thai, but you'll see the word Vegan. Not fancy, but clean. Plenty of locals eating here. No English spoken. You can choose rice plus three buffet dishes for 35 Baht, a great bargain. There are foods that they will prepare but since there was no English description or pictures of the dishes, I went for the buffet. Price of the prepared dishes is 35-50 Baht. I might rate the price $ rather than $$. The food isn't gourmet, I'd say it's average Thai Vegan buffet food. There are nine tables. It's quite close to Bus Station 1, maybe a five or ten minute walk.

Pros: Inexpensive, Adequate food, Easy to find
