Fully vegan buffet

Decent place with a small number of options in the point-and-hope buffet. Fully vegan, with a small shop selling take-home items. Fairly-priced. No English spoken.

Lovely mixed buffet of delicious vegan dishes. Well worth seeking out.

I could choose between the dishes on offer so I had a mixed (Ruamit) platter which proved utterly delicious. There is no English sign that says Ahan Jay, but if you get to the crossroads it’s located on the south eastern corner. I checked whether the food served here is vegan (jay) or vegetarian (mansawirat) and I was assured that it is all vegan. ร้านเจ หนองคาย

Best vegan snacks

Despite being a regular Thai Jay cafe it also serves snacks like sausages made from rice and tofu, smoked tofu and others.

Such wonderful tasty food

Which ever of the buffers you choose (only 1/4 mile apart) you will not be disappointed. They don’t speak English we don’t speak this but we pointed and smiled and ended up with 2 large platefuls if food plus a choice of appetisers for a whole 100 baht, amazing value

Pros: Loads of choice , All so tasty , Amazing value

snacks better than mains

Great fake sausages and spring rolls. Mains limited. Don't get much banter off the staff, but at 35 baht a meal, one cannot really complain.

Standard Thai Vegan Buffet

I only tried the tofu with dipping sauce which was good and just 15 baht. It looks like you should come before 1pm to get the freshest food from the buffet. The location is just a half block from the marker going towards the main road(away from the river).

Pros: cheap
