Decent Veg Eatery - Edit

This is one of two veg eateries I could locate - the place off Th Naresuan, on Th Khlong Makharm Riang, and this are similar in style and price. Westerners are charged around 35 baht for a serving of rice with curries, or noodle soup.

Pros: easy to find, relatively inexpensive, nice staff

Cons: not much variety, closes early

Tasty buffet, but bring your own liquid... - Edit

Ate here twice in Jan 2011. Small Thai buffet in a relatively quiet spot next to some ruins. There were about 6 dishes on offer, all of which were vegan and most of them a bit spicy, though a couple were mild. They also sell baggies of food for take-out, which is good since, like all the other veggie eateries in town, they're closed for dinner.

Only complaint is that there was nothing healthy to drink (just coke) so bring your own water bottle.

Pros: Tasty food at low prices, All vegan, apparently, peaceful location

Cons: no healthy drinks, buffet food isn't always temperature hot
