Chocolate heaven & more - Edit
This is one of the absolute essentials of visiting playa del Carmen. Vegan or not. The drinks are to die for. I come to playa frequently and can promise you you will enjoy it here😄If you’re a coffee lover, I recommend the iced mocha. The staff are so unbelievably friendly, I’ve heard them speak English with no problem, everything is very well priced. There are a few Ah Cacaos in Playa del Carmen and this particular location is my favourite - it’s small but the AC is very relieving in the heat. The straws are made from agave fibre, they use solar energy at the fabrication centre. They seem to really care about the planet and their products. There’s a lot of vegan options (3 cookies, a cake, tamale, chocolate products, even shampoos etc). It’s not gimmicky at all! You can work from here, they have plug sockets at the tables. They have a hand washing station, they sanitise tables and mark that it’s sanitised. They don’t charge extra for plant milk. I sound sponsored but this is just one of those places that makes me so happy it exists haha

The mocha cake is fantastic - Edit
I tried the vegan mocha cake because it was recomended and I can confirm that it really deserves the great reviews! The café also has a small shop for chocolate (also vegan) and other cacao products such as cacao soap.

the mocha cake is SO good! this ah cacao is very close to the ADO bus stop so i grabbed a cake for my ride to the airport.
