A hidden gem!

Tucked away on a small, quiet street outside of the main historical center, this place is heaven for those with dietary restrictions. V, VG, and GF options are clearly marked on the bilingual menu. I was even able to enjoy a three-course vegan dinner. The maitre d', Jennifer, was extremely gracious and welcoming. We ordered at her recommendations and were very happy with what we got. They seem to be very popular (understandably) among the expat community and it does get very busy, so reservation is a must!

Innovative, Elegant and Delicious

Agua Miel is definitely worth trying, I would happily return again. The food is innovative, delicious and vegan friendly. The seasonal menu for November included kimchi with coconut crusted avocado tacos which were very fresh, flavorful and nicely balanced with the acidity of the kimchi, the creaminess of the avocado and the touch of sweetness from the coconut. The atmosphere is garden courtyard with beautiful table settings and suits San Miguel's cultural and historical aspects very well.
