A family taverna

A nice family-style restaurant. Different menu every day, will accommodate veganism no problem, but expect to eat what’s available and not to be able to order from a menu. The food was lovely and fresh.

Nice homemade food

Finding this place was the definition of serendipity.

The owner is really easygoing and extrovert, nice to chat with.

We had the butternut beans (gigades), a spanakopita (spanakopitari which means spinach pie), eggplants imam and a salad.

Everything was great.

Nice greek traditional food, many vegan options

To find this place was what serendipity is. To learn that she makes tzatziki with vegan yogurt was the biggest surprise. The lady is very vegan friendly. We had gigades which were very nicely cooked, spinach pie, aubergines in the oven (also very well cooked and delicious).

I went again with a friend, I loved everything but I wouldn't say for sure that the tzatziki is vegan. She gets the yoghurt whole sale, and she doesn't know if it's soy or almond or whatever based, so I am afraid it's animal based. It's too thick to be vegan.
