Perfect

If there is better Ethiopian in the Seattle area, it's hard to imagine how it could be; this place was perfect. The veggie combo serving for two was generously enormous, colorful, flavorful. Cold, rather than warm beets was a surprise, but delightful. The shiro wat hit the spot, and the gomen may be the best I've had anywhere. The Coffee Ceremony tray included extra incense, plenty to play with throughout the meal, and intriguingly flavored popcorn. The coffee, rich and black. I'd especially recommend this restaurant for those familiar with Ethiopian fare, as well as newcomers to the cuisine.

Pros: Generous, tasty and colorful veggie combo, Amazing Coffee Ceremony, with popcorn, Nice ambience

Cons: Lots of live sound equipment, but never live music

New favorite misir wot

We came here on recommendation from Ethiopian friends and so glad we did. We got the veggie combo for 2 and it was a ton of food. Everything was good, but the misir wot really stood out. We will definitely be back!

Pros: Clearly labeled vegan option, Delicious misir wot, They also have vegan breakfast options
