Amazing! - Edit
I was at afropolitan during its infancy, in December, and actually briefly worked there as a server and help in the kitchen. I worked there because I was spending all my time there anyways because I loved it so much. It may have changed. But Rosalina makes it such a personal experience and everyone gets exactly what they need. If you're vegan, you best believe your meal will be vegan (she is vegan too). Shame that they still serve catch of the day and eggs though. I never liked the term "vegan based." You can't have your foot in both camps. However, I always had great food and drinks and it's beautiful in the cafe. This is a great option and experience in puerto viejo.
Pros: Amazing experience , Great food , Beautiful cafe
Cons: Not pure vegan
