Excellent food, lots of vegan options - Edit
The Fitzroy area is full of vegan places, but they were virtually all closed during our New Years visit. Afghan Gallery was open and I had never had Afghan food. They have about 8 things on the vegetarian section of the menu, and only 1 is not vegan. The Naan is also vegan. We enjoyed our spinach and cauliflower dishes and had a good chat with the waiter, who we assume was the owner.
Pros: Good number of vegan options, Friendly service, Open on holidays
Cons: Portions were relatively small
