Not amazed, but will try again

I’ve been looking forward to trying this place. I wasn’t blown away from the food. I had the vegan focaccia. I’m still keen to go back and try something different. They seem to have some specialisation in Asian food, with a daily special for that cuisine. Let’s see!

The outdoor setting is beautiful with a nice peaceful garden surrounding the porch.

Great tea selection.

Pros: Lots of vegan options , Garden and outdoor seating, Great tea selection

Cons: 3/5 for food taste

Atmosphere and good food

Beautiful gardens, friendly and helpful service great food selections. Staff very attentive to reassure you on vegan items without asking including telling us the coffee biscuits were vegan without asking these little things make a good environment to eat.

Food was great and so was the coffee, pool table and squash court available on premises

Pros: Mostly vegan options

Cons: No cons noted

Nice atmosphere accompanied by good food!

The restaurant was nice and is good for people that prefer a restaurant that is not too loud and just want to chill-out. The food was really good too! Ordered the foccacia and my s.o. ordered the lasagna, both were very delicious. Would recommend coming here and definitely will be dining here again. The desserts were also very delicious! Definitely recommend the black forest cake.

Let down, but not disappointed

Ordered the fried wanton noodles with chili sauce. Serving size was decent, but I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would. In retrospect, I probably shouldn't have ordered it with chili sauce as I think it might have tasted better without. I feel as though the veggies, noodles, faux char siew, and chili sauce all tasted good as separate components but didn't come together well. The rooibos chai I ordered was excellent though.

Service was friendly and attentive, and beautiful location to boot.

3 stars in my mind, but that's based on the food being a bit of a let down. However, I may be rating differently if I'd ordered something different instead?

Pros: Cooked fresh - could smell from the seating area!, Friendly service

Cons: Pricey - although depends on what you get

Love this place

My favorite place to get vegan pies. I always get a broccoli and mushroom pie. And I keep coming back because of the service. They remember my order and I love supporting local restaurants

Pros: Lottsss of vegan options

We had the curry pie and wanton noodles, the pie was is the best vegan pie I’ve we’d ever had In our lives and the noodles were perfect, (serving sizes were quite generous as well!).
The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly, happy to give their recommendations of food and have a bit of a laugh.
We will definitely be going back!

Excellent

Stumbled upon this place by chance thanks to Happy Cow and we're very thankful that we did! It's hidden quietly away from the street, so take note. There's a massive vegetarian menu by default, but with so many vegan options available, you really can't not check this place out. If it's not already vegan, a vegan option is offered as standard. Tried some of the juices and the choc chip banana bread. Yummo! There are plenty of sweets to go with the savouries. Can't wait to head back next time we're out in the hills.

Pros: Heaps of vegan options, Very friendly staff

Many vegan options

Quaint little cafe in the hills, worth the drive to get there. The menu is mostly vegetarian but items that are vegan are clearly marked. At least 10 meal choices!! We had soup of the day, wonton noodles, the pie, and juices. Great service and a nice outdoor garden to watch the wildlife in.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Clearly marked, Friendly service
