Few vegan options

The Ægir Pub claims to change its Menu seasonally. As far as I know there are always some, though unfortunately rather few, dishes that can be veganised. The food itself is otherwise really good and the house-brewed beers offer a varied and enjoyable tasting experience.
Now to the sad part: the viking style interior, even though it's very cozy, features lots of hunting trophies as well as animal furs and hides.

Not much of a choice, is it?

I don't know about the Hummus dish anymore, it says on the menu that it includes goat cheese. The sorbet appears to be gone too.

The only vegan option listed on the menu is the tomato soup with peas instead of mussels. And well, it's a tomato soup. Not much to say. A simple soup that costs about 23 euros...
But what else are you going to eat here in Flåm?

They obviously have tons of original beers if that's your thing.

The building looks like a stave church and the decor is very nordic with wooden statues and furs on the walls and on the sofas which I hope are not real..

Good meal

Small modification to make the hummus fish vegan, and it was really tasty
