not for me

....... uh.... I try to go easy on my reviews but sometimes... it's hard...
First of all: Contrary to the restaurant's description here on HappyCow, menu is not clearly labelled. I didn't even know they had vegan acarajé cause it wasn't informed on the menu. Some dishes do not specify if they're vegan or not and we had to ask.

The savoury snacks/dishes were ok, but I wouldn't eat them again. The cuscuz asks for more veggies... possibly with more seasoning and less salt... The Pão de Beijos were small and soft, but not bad taste-wise.

Now the desserts........ Brigadeiro is supposed to be a chocolate "truffle" but I could not taste any chocolate. It tastes like a mix of oats and molasses with... maybe some type of healthy seeds. The brownie didn't taste much like anything.. except for the frosting that had a clear taste of cheap hydrogenated "chocolate".
I think anyone who is bringing vegan desserts into this unholy world is doing god's work but I might be too evil to enjoy god's creations in its totality. I'm really sorry. Please keep creating vegan foods. I'm sure there are people out there who will like them.

I have to praise the musical taste of whoever created the playlist that was playing though. Got many compliments from my relatives. Price and service were ok.
