Lovin' Eritrean - Edit
Adulis seems to be a chain; there's one in Oval and Brixton..
Read moreHere there's a dedicated vegan section. It's good and an interesting experience if you've not had Ethiopian or Eritrean food before. Go for the mixed thingy with injera (a spongy sourdough risen flat-bread). It's much more filling than it looks.
This branch of Adulis is pretty big and it's nicely done out in African style inside. The food's really good and different..
Pros: Tasty, interesting food, Nicely done out inside

Vegan & Carnivore couple - Edit
Went for dinner with my carnivore husband. He had a meat platter whilst I had the vegan one. Mine was delicious and very filling, he said the same. We would definitely go back. I would have liked my food to be hotter though as it was lukewarm.

Cons: Food was a bit cold

Vegan platter - Edit
We found this place with lovely traditional Eritrean decor. We ordered the vegan platter for two for £25. See photo. The plate is actually an injera pancake! We had to take some instructions on how to eat it! But it was really tasty and nourishing. We will be back!

Cons: You need to wash your hands after eating! :)
