Great vegan option for New Braunfels - Edit
Very nice and comfortable atmosphere. Good chips and salsa. The same vegetable mixture is used for enchiladas or tacos and is quite good. They can make the veggies steamed if you ask. We got the vegetable enchiladas. They come with rice and black beans. Delicious! We enjoyed our meal and will be back!

Adobe Cafe has been around for years, serving locals great Tex-Mex with a healthy option. They have added more and more vegetarian and vegan options over the past 5 years or so. The veggie tacos are exactly as described, sauteed veggies in a corn tortilla. they have beans cooked without meat. The chargrilled vegetables, both as fajitas and as a plate have been my favorite for a decade. That's large pieces of zuccini, yellow squash, mushrooms, onions tomatoes- all grilled and slightly served with vegan beans and turmeric rice. I LOVE IT!! they will even cook them with little or no oil! The best part is that they have options for my non-vegan family members as well. What more can you ask from a restaurant?

We have lived in NB for many years and have rediscovered Adobe Cafe! Love their vegan options and they even have a great loyalty program for locals! We find ourselves their at least once a week. 😋
