Read moreIf you are in Dingle, you MUST have a meal here. The couple who own the place are simply wonderful, friendly people who will talk your ears off if you let them. There are only a handful of tables, because much of the space is dedicated to a studio and a store. On first seeing the food, we didn’t think it was anything noteworthy. However, we changed our minds after the first bites. Wow! It was so fresh and flavorful! Amazingly, two of our party said it was some of the best they’ve ever had!
Pros: Friendly hosts, Delicious food, Inexpensive

Wonderful atmosphere, super nice food - Edit
Being in Dingle me and my partner only accidenly came accross this cosy place in the top of a small house. The food we have ordered was fantastic, cooked by the owner themself with self-grown ingredients. The maindish comes with salad - two out of three offered meals were vegan, vegetarian are all of them.

Three and a half stars... - Edit
We ran into this place while visiting Dingle, as an omnivore family. It was very old school vegetarian, maybe just a tiny bit too alternative for my taste... The fresh veggies were delicious though. And since we’re on holiday eating out a lot it’s been a challenge finding fresh veggies on the menu. I had the curry with rice, since the potatoes needed 20 minutes otherwise, my kids had the omelette and my omnivore boyfriend had the open sandwich with hummus and cheese which was also good. The bread was also very good. So all in all a pretty good lunch, we got to see the garden, where I overheard somebody recording a video saying: ‘And what are you doing to make the world a better place?’ I do wonder that sometimes myself😄

Quirky but lovely - Edit
This is a small kitchen above a shop with limited hours and staff. I ate here 3 days in a row because the food was so homemade & healthy, especially the soups. Friendly owner.

Brilliant food for a reasonable price - Edit
I stumbled into this eatery while looking for a meal that was not a drab brown in color and deep fried. I was not disappointed. The eggplant curry was something that I could have eaten all week long. My partner got the spinach and Chickpea stew. We were also amazed by the mixed greens which included carrots and tomatoes from his own garden. Go here if you need a good meal.

Awesome and authentic - Edit
We found this place a little off the beaten path but was enjoyable to get to. It’s a shop as well as a cafe upstairs. The food was amazing. It especially had genuine service with authentic Irish charm. We had the bean and spinach stew and both absolutely loved it. What was most amazing for me was that they grow most of their own veg in the back garden. Loved it. If we return to beautiful Dingle, we know where to go.

Home Grown Vegetables... - Edit
As someone who is used to eating the very best in home grown produce it was such a delightful surprise to not only find great Vegan food in Dingle but also to enjoy the taste of real home grown ingredients, freshly picked salads and homemade condiments - a rare treat ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great if you’re in need of a home cooked vegan meal - Edit
All the food comes from their garden, they cook it right in front of you, we had the ratatouille and the curry, both came with salad ! The place is very peculiar but overall the experience was great !

meager, slow - Edit
The menu is very small. The soup and the “curry” were the two vegan options. The owner/cook put a plate in front of us and said “curry” was a tiny plate with some steamed kale and an even tinier side of chutney; no curry in site. Very confusing! Then, I asked for the rice that comes with it and she said”I’m cooking the rice, two or three minutes”. A few minutes later she presented white rice topped with vegetables in a tasteless curry. The owners are very, very nice, but the food was definitely lacking.

Sorry you were disappointed but in March it is an off season period of the year and we were doing our best with the lack of vegetables from the garden. In the summer we have great salads and all the food is made from organically grown vegetables from the garden. Come back in the summer and we will refund you if you are not satisfied. Just make yourself known to us.

Best Place for Vegans in Dingle! - Edit
We are vegans and in our two weeks in Dingle the Adh Danlann Gallery Cafe was definitely the best place for food! Suitable for vegans: It has three vegan options, which is more than you can hope for in Dingle... The café is quiet and homely, situated above a little shop and run by a very friendly couple. We ate a delicious Borsh soup and the vegetarian dish of the day, which was a ratatouille with couscous. The soup was served with bread and houmous and the ratatouille was delicious, made from homegrown vegetables. I will recommend this place to everyone going to Dingle, whether they are vegan or not!

Not to miss! - Edit
Thank you for the delicious lunch. The proof of the pudding is in the eating. We didn't eat pudding, but what we eat was absolutely tasty and fresh. When you go to Dingle, you have to see the dolphin, and you have tot eat at 'Ádh Dánlann'! P.s the live music accompanied by the proprietor practicing the pipes downstairs adds to the wholesome charm.

Tasty homemade food - Edit
Eating at the gallery cafe literally felt like going into a family home for a homey lunch. The cafe is located above a curio shop in a hidden street of Dingle. It is owned and manned by a friendly couple who made every effort to make sure we had the best possible experience. They chatted with us and confessed that as soon as we arrived they went out to their organic garden to pick the vegetables for our salad. Needless to say, the salad was wonderful.
Read moreThe cafe consists of a handful of tables, and the daily-changing menu is vegetarian, but vegan friendly. We had a tasty Russian-style beet soup, ratatouille with couscous, and the highlight of our meal, a slice of a delicious 100% homemade apple pie.
Overall, we had a very pleasant experience at the cafe and felt the fresh, home cooked meal we got was a great value for our money. If you're vegan or vegetarian and in the Dingle area, I definitely recommend eating here.
Pros: Homey, Fresh, Varied menu
Cons: limited menu, simple food

A great find! - Edit
Came across this great cafe upstairs over a shop/gallery. The gentleman cooked us a home made vegan curry over rice that was served with a home made chutney and a salad, picked fresh from his garden. It was delicious and very welcome after travelling and eating out in restaurants for days, more like going to a friends house for a home cooked meal! Highly recommended

Eating at Danlann was like eating at someone's house where they prepared home cooked meals. Though the menu is not expansive, what is offered is delicious. We had a vegan veggie ratatouille dish served over rice. Unfortunately, there weren't any vegan desserts.
