Be Careful when ordering - Edit
The restaurant does not list the Vegan options on their menu, so you have to specificlly ask them to veganize it. AND make really sure that they understand it, which in my case did not work out, as I recieved the vegetarian option with egg and real cheese.

The francesinha was tasty, and its nice to be able to experience a vegan version of a traditional Portuguese dish.

Three vegan options - Edit
The vegan francesinha is good, with vegan alheira and mushrooms. They have three vegan options if you ask for vegan cheese: francesinha, hamburger and risotto. Good to have a meal with non vegan family.

Liguei a perguntar se tinham uma opção vegan disseram que ao retirar o ovo da francesinha uva poderia comer. Já no restaurante perguntamos a confirmar responderam outra vez que podia comer. Ao comer percebi que o queijo não era vegan. Perguntamos e confirmaram. Eu sou vegan e três pessoas na mesa eram intolerantes a lactose, vamos ter consequências morais e de saúde. Ainda nos queriam obrigar a pagar, o que nos recusamos.
