Lots of vegan dishes, vegan buffet - Edit
I wouldn't usually review (or visit) a restaurant that isn't vegan or vegetarian, but Abyssinia is incredible. This is my favourite restaurant in Edmonton. They offer a wide variety of vegan dishes on any day of the week, and have an incredible vegan buffet on Friday nights. (They have another buffet on Wednesdays which is not vegan but has many vegan options). The staff are lovely, and the prices are quite reasonable. I consider this a vegan restaurant first and foremost, but one you can bring your meat-eating friends to. Best in the city.

Vegan Buffet - Edit
Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday- lots of choices! The food is fresh and tasty. Try the injera and/or rice. other dishes include lentils, potatoes, spinach, eggplant cabbage, and mushroom.
Pros: great food, great price!
