What a lovely place! - Edit
This rural eco-lodge, formerly the home of a family, is hidden in the woods, surrounded by silence and nature. The beautiful individually designed rooms give a lot of privacy (see pictures on the website). You almost feel alone in this wonderful place.

We enjoyed breakfast and dinner each night with the other guests and with our hosts. We laughed a lot, discussed and sometimes after dinner even played pétanque together. Vanessa and Geert spoiled us every evening with excellent vegan food. There was nothing even on the fifth evening which we had already eaten. Also the breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. In addition, there is also gluten-free homemade bread.
We enjoyed our stay a lot and would like to visit again.

Amazing dinner (unfortunately we did not stay there overnight) - Edit
Geert and Vanessa are incredibly friendly hosts and the place is beautiful. Unfortunately we could not stay in one of the beautiful chalets as dogs are not allowed in the hypoallergenic rooms, however Geert & Vanessa welcomed us as their guests for dinner. We had a wonderful stay and can highly recommend this accommodation!

Beautiful and peaceful ecolodge. Host Geert is a very inspiring person, also very welcoming. He cooks great vegan dinners and knows the best places to visit in the area.

Must visit (raw) vegan guest room in South of France - Edit
Abriecosy is an amazing ecolodge! You are welcomed by Geert, the friend host and sustainability enthusiast. It was great to have a chat with him and see how his project is arising at this beautiful part close by the Gorges du Verdon. Geert has great recommendations for trips in the area. However, to enjoy nature you don't need to go far as the lodge offers breathtaking views on the valley, a great start point for hikes.
Read moreNext to the nice location, I really loved the raw vegan food that Geert prepares. You can clearly tell that he is a trained chef and uses local and seasonal products. He plans to provide in his own produce with a permaculture garden.
So overall, this offers the great combination of being in beautiful nature and delicious food. A must visit!
If you want to get your hands dirty there are also options to volunteer on the site.
