The best vegan fare in Daejeon - Edit
As of date of visit, this place is fully vegan! The owner is slowly transitioning towards a plant-based diet but ensures her restaurant is vegan. The most delicious place with the most lovely owner. The food is well made and incredibly well priced. I highly recommend the burger and tempeh pasta. Super great!

Top Shelf - Edit
One of the best vegan places I’ve been to in Korea. Nice cosy interior with plants and a small kitchen. Only a small menu with a few items - some of which aren’t vegan. I am happy to have a small menu to chose from when you know everything will be tasty, but it’s disappointing to see so many restaurants that are primarily vegan also serve meat and fish. I don’t understand it.
Read moreThe food was really great. I had a vegan sandwich that was delicious and came with a really good salad, an accompanying free salad that was sweet and nice, and a pesto pasta that was good. The staff were very friendly also, and all around it is just a great spot and very well done.
It was a little hard to find parking, but one of the staff directed us to a spot right outside we used. So be mindful of that - it is quite busy with narrow streets.
Pros: Great food, Friendly staff, Nice interior space
Cons: Serves meat/fish
