Jr Teodoro Cardenas 281, Lima, Peru

Previously known as Natural Home, this is a recently renovated all-vegan restaurant in Lince, serving daily menus of 9 soles and 12 soles (prices as of May 2017). Appetizers usually include fresh salads and soups with Peruvian veggies and grains, and entrees are platos criollos, like locro with tofu, arroz a la jardinera, olluquito, cau cau, quinoa tapada, ceviche de tarwi, veggie chaufa, carapulcra, etc., while also serving international plates like lasagna and ratatouille. The front of the restaurant also serves fresh juices, smoothies, nut milks, pastries and other desserts. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Open Mon-Sat 7:00am-10:00pm, Sun 9:00am-5:00pm.

Really Decent - Edit

My first meal in Lima and it was pretty good. The food was a bit bland, but I still enjoyed it. The prices were very, very cheap and the service was extremely quick and friendly. I also took a bunch of desserts and breads home.

They also have a small health food store in the front, that sells powders and other interesting items for dirt cheap...took a bunch of items home to NYC, and they will last me for a while, I'm sure.

Pros: VERY inexpensive , Great variety , Cheap health food store in front

Cons: Food is little bland, but still pretty good

Comida exquisita, ambiente agradable y precios razonables - Edit

never got to try it - Edit

I'm sure it would've been amazing but we spent the money to take a cab there when their hours clearly stated they were open and they were closed. Super disappointing

delicious, cheap, VEGAN - Edit

Lince is holding it down as one of the most vegan-friendly neighborhoods in Lima, there are three 100% vegan restaurants and at least eight vegetarian restaurants in one of the smallest districts of Lima. Abdiel is brand-new, has really good food, and is extremely cheap. They always give you the prefect amount of food, and there are affordable desserts at the front of restaurant if you have a sweet tooth. The service can be a bit slow, you have to get the waiters attention, but I believe they are working on hiring more wait staff. The space is large and well lit, but I just wish it had windows! One time during lunch they handed us little paper tickets and started raffling off items, like organic panela (unprocessed brown sugar), carne de soya (soy meat), and kiwicha and quinoa pop. There was no special occasion, they just wanted to give things away I think. I really recommend coming to Abdiel, they are always doing food festivals (sushi, italian food, etc.) and the place is always full!
