Great they became fully vegan - but choose wisely - Edit
For my full review, please check below.
Read moreThis is just an update because I visited recently since they updated their menu.
We tried the new dishes (mafé + ramequin w/mashed potatoes); but we found the first too salty and the latter too sour.
So I'll stick to the burger and the pancakes, which they do very well.
-------------------
This branch of Abattoir Végétal has recently turned fully vegan.
Currently, you can find some hummus or a soup as appetizers; and savory pancakes, a burger and a risotto as mains. For desserts, they propose pancakes, a granola and some small desserts made by Luna (@_lunacreation). They also have a large drink menu.
We actually had the brunch (available only on Sundays) which comes with a soup, a granola, pancakes, a brownie and drinks. It was generous and tasty, although the savory pancakes could have been less dry.
The atmosphere was also rather pleasant, and the service was very attentive.
If not the brunch, I find plates a bit expensive (you can check their entire menu on their website); and they could be more varied.
In any case, fully vegan restaurants around that area of Paris are scarce, so if you're planning to grab some food, give them a try.

Délicieux ! - Edit

Nice Vegetarian Restaurant - Edit
Nice vegetarian restaurant near Saint Germais des Près. This is their second venue (their first one is in Paris 18). A bit expensive which is not surprising for the area, but nice food, and very good cocktails!

Cool vegetarian restaurant that would deserve to go fully vegan.

It should be a good place to have a proper "wine and cheese" session.

Good enough for a return visit. Menu a bit small. I’m not sure they had any specials.

Wonderful, bright, cozy, innovative—the future of French cafés? - Edit
My partner and I were in Paris for a one-week vacation in December 2019 during a large, country-wide strike. We were trying to get a very late lunch, around 4 PM, and all the places we called were shuttered because they didn't have the employees to stay open. This place valiantly stayed open—and we were very grateful!
Read moreThe beautiful, bright décor, with white, gold, and light pink main colors—in complete contrast with the typical dark, black/red, French café—is the first indication that you are in for something different! They have a lovely upper floor that is quiet and very cozy.
We ordered a glass of Prosecco, which was very tasty (although lost a bit of its bubbly) and highlighted with a few dried flowers, and a very good genmaicha tea.
We then had a plate of vegan cheeses from Jay & Joy, which they served with a lightly dressed (olive oil and lemon) pomegranate salad, and eight assorted crackers of different types of ancient grains. The three cheeses that were served were: Bleu, Camembert and persillé. All were delish bordering on divine (my favorite was the Camembert which tastes very nicely like the "original"). I thought the crackers were a very nice choice, because with bread we might have over-eaten bread and not tasted the full flavor of the vegan cheeses. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLATE.
Next, we both were intrigued by the "two burgers", a black one and a pink one. The size and plating made both burgers extremely easy to eat without making a mess: Each bite was melting in my mouth, with an explosion of flavors. I really preferred the savory black burger, with its fried tofu and hazelnut crunch, but the pink burger, which was a bit sweeter and rounder (with butternut flavors) was also very good. If I lived nearby, I could see these burgers becoming a regular pick-me-up.
The service was very kind. They wondered if they might be too solicitous, so they asked us if we wanted them to check in on us, or just let us hang out upstairs.
Check this place out, it's got a lot to please a vegan. I also particularly like their history: They used to be a charcuterie, but they saw the writing on the wall. I don't know about you, but I particularly love to hear about vegan-conversions (such as that of Elmhurst milk...).

Pros: typical French café but vegan-style, innovative flavors, beautiful setting

tasty but pricey - Edit
Beautiful restaurant with interesting taste combinations (main meal was aubergine with pineapple, onions and greens). I would add more fruits to the yoghurt and on the pancakes. Pricey (27€ for menu for one).

So impressed by this place - Edit
I stumbled across this place wheile walking down a random street in Paris and I am SO glad that I did! Aside from this being the cutest restaurant (decor-wise) that I’ve probably ever been to, the food and drink selection was amazing! I ended up ordering a matcha latte and the vegan cheese board. Let me just say - what a time to be alive! I can’t believe vegan cheese boards exist!! The blue cheese and the brie were my favorites of the three “cheeses” provided. It came with a small salad and some bread and crackers. The meal was slightly pricey, but so worth it for the great vibes alone! The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. My drink came very quickly but my food took quite a while, so come prepared to sit and enjoy the ambiance for a bit! Love this place so much, will visit again the next time I’m in Paris!

Overpriced for what it is - Edit
Atmosphere and service are nice, however, my falaf was served cold and it was quite boring. The salad with it was good. The soup was rather boring too and didn't even come with bread. Overall a disappointing experience.

Overpriced and not that tasty - Edit
The menu is totally unstructured. It's just a mix of small dips and plates, and bigger plates in no particular order. So it's hard to understand what to get.
Read moreWhen you finally think you figure it out, it turns out what you get is smaller than you thought (Tofu Teriyaki is 4 small triangles, with no sides). And it's not that interesting food, not very tasty and not very original.
They were out of pastries for dessert (early in the evening)
And it is very expensive for what you get. The service is also very slow and disorganized.
Pros: Some of the dishes are ok, Nice decor
Cons: Serves dairy and eggs, Overpriced / small portions, Slow service

We were 3 and we took:
Read more- Tofu teriyaki => super small (4 small triangles) and nothing special. You can make it at home easily
- Like in liban => Greek pita served with 4 slice of sweet potato and some greens. It was kind of dry. It was 14€
- Fried rice on a half pinaple => That was bigger and tastier. Mix of favors with the pinaple, bell pepper, soja protein... I really recommend to take this dish
Back home, we ate bread and houmous
Pros: Super cute decorated
Cons: Extremely expensive , Small portions

Amazing veggie spot in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés - Edit
Offering a large array of (mostly) vegan food and drinks, this restaurant is located in the one of the most fashionable districts of Paris, Saint-Germain-des-Prés. Featuring 2 floors it is beautifully decorated with lots of flowers, plants and superb furniture. It's really good to have such veggie options in this district, all day long from 12pm to 12am! I personally loved the gnocchis and the pineapple dessert. Service was excellent and finally prices are very much reasonable for the quantities served.
