Seasonal opening from March to October. An outdoor vegetarian restaurant at Kulkwitzer Lake near Leipzig. Most dishes are vegan or have vegan options, including milk alternatives for your coffee and made-in-house vegan ice cream. Try their famous chili sin carne or a smokey version of a pea soup. Open Tue-Sun 12:00-20:00. Hours are for kitchen - open for ice-cream only mornings and Mon.

Ein wirklich wunderbarer Ort! Zuvorkommendes und freundliches Personal, viele individuelle Sitzmöglichkeiten (Liegen, Tische & Stühle, Bänke - verteilt über den gesamten Hang), ein herrlicher Ausblick auf den Kulkwitzer See; und dazu eine schöne Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken. Weil ich nicht sehr hungrig war, gab es nur eine Portion Pommes mit Mayo. Die war üppig und lecker. Würde ich in Leipzig wohnen, wäre ich wohl ständig hier :)

What a nice place to be. We made an extra stop here on the way from our vacation in Mecklenburg to our home in Vogtland, and it was all worth the little detour. Fortunately HappyCow brought us here! We had vegan burgers and two different vegan cakes and everything was really delicious. Now we think about what excursion we could do next that brings us back here ;)

Cozy little cafe next to a pretty lake - Edit
It's a little hidden but definitely worth going. The view is really great and it has a great walkingpath to explore the area. The food changes often. When i was there they offered a carrot soup which was extremely delicious and a average focaccia filled with olive, dried cherry tomatoes, cream cheese and gouda. Even though the staff was really friendly it took them quiet a bit to remove dishes from previous customer.

Best vegan ice cream - Edit
This place is a little hard to find, but once you get there you are lakefront at a wonderful rustic location. The day I first went there, there was a wedding reception taking place so I took some ice cream to go. The vegan ice cream is amongst the best I have ever tried. I look forward to returning to see what else is on their menu!
