vegan super safe and customized! - Edit

Even though it is a "portuguese style tabern" - thus serving traditional algarvian meals such as dried tunna or pork meat -, the cook is vegetarian and there are several vegan dishes in the menu.
Other than that, I went there with a "gluten-free friend"and "regular meat eaters", and we had a customized meal "chef selection"... personalized dishes for eveyone.
For me, it's perfect to go with friend or family who eat meat and fish. And the athmosphere and decoration are a must see!

Pros: athmosphere, vegan customized algarvian dishes, staff

Cons: a bit expensive

5* despite them serving meat - Edit

this is truly a gem! I went there with my omni friend, she had one dish with meat and we shared vegan tapas - what a delight! and the atmosphere was so very lovely. we didn't get a place outside since it was packed, but the smell inside was just wonderful because of the open kitchen. go and stuff your bellies at this lovely, lovely place!!

fantastic food - Edit

I love faro but never before have I encountered such fantastic food as last weekend. Weather was awful but good Amazing
Tucked away A Venda is a lovely veg/vegan/non-veg Tasca where the food is fantastic in a very rustic portuguese setting. Have I said I love Portugal? Yes but this time I found A Venda. Amazing staff and nothing to complain about really. Take cash though as not all restaurants take foreign cards ❤

Delicious tapas - Edit

This restaurant is not vegan, but it does have a very nice selection of vegetarian and vegan tapas. I went there with my (non-vegetarian) boyfriend and we both absolutely loved it! For most dishes, you can choose between a small and a large portion. We chose all small portions so we could taste many different ones and share them. All of them were delicious and so fresh! I was so happy to find this restaurant in Faro. The atmosphere was cosy and relaxed and the staff was very friendly. The food is very affordable too!

Pros: great variety of plant-based dishes, sharing, in the city center
