La venta offers a lot of fully vegan portugiese tapas. Delicious, good sizes and friendly waitresses*waitors. Even vegan dessert and vegan cheese is offered. We will come back

Really interesting food options, best for sharing tapas style, but I enjoyed solo with two dishes.
Read moreThe crunchy flax seed loaf was similar to seitan with pickles, chillies and corriander, a really special dish.
I also got the satay aubergine which was nice- as expected, but not the best I’ve tried.
The whole meal came to €22 with wine and a soft drink, including free bread and a side, great value for money.
Aesthetically the restaurant is quirky, with lots of vintage Knick-knacks, jazz playing and an open kitchen, it has a homely vibe that draws you in.
I would recommend booking ahead if you want to sit outside, especially if there is a large group, as tourists and locals alike seem to love this spot!
Overall, it’s definitely a restaurant worth trying at least once if you’re in Faro, for some of the most unique vegan dishes I’ve tried from somewhere that isn’t a vegan specialty.

Really tasty food. All of the veggie options (on both their main menu and daily menu) were vegan except for one, which they offered to make vegan too. Friendly staff and great food, was nice to try some vegan Portuguese dishes.

We came without a reservation and were lucky to get in - it quickly became packed! They only had a menu of the day. In the vegetarian section, 4 dishes were already vegan (not labeled) and the 5th could be made vegan. It is recommended to order 2 dishes per person and that was the right amount of food.

Note that the vintage decor and furniture are a bit weird, and they also play odd music, like eery film scores - might not be for everyone.
They also had vegan panacotta, which we did not try.

They offer a lot vegan options, also in the daily menu! We had 4 different tapas (which was recommended) and that was very enough for 2 people. Everything was so delicious! The vibe is nice & and the waitress was very friendly. Reservation is recommended.

The food was high quality, fresh and delicious (roasted cauliflower, hummus, bread and vegan cheese). Servers were friendly and helpful. However, at first there was a problem to find a table for one person only. Then it was suggested that the dishes were made for sharing so I felt a bit weird coming alone. First round of couvert is for free, which was confusing as well.

The food was very good and the servers were very nice, I enjoyed the chestnut and cabbage and also the pana cotta. However the service was very slow even though there weren’t many people. They also had very jarring techno music that was too loud.

What a delightful place this was - the staff were friendly and helpful, there was lots of vegan choices and the food was delicious. By far the best vegan food I ate in Faro. So good I think I’m going back tomorrow night!

Read moreIt serves small/sharing plates, and the whole vegetarian section on the menu is vegan, so lots of choice! They also had a homemade vegan nut cheese and gazpacho.
The restaurant is lovely and authentic with a cosy, relaxed atmosphere and very attentive and informative staff.
It was so nice to finally eat somewhere with lots of interesting choices and them all be delicious too. Highly recommend, especially with a meat eater so you're both happy. The lemon zucchini dish was my favourite!

A small restaurant with rough and ready decoration and an on open kitchen. It offers some tapas, many of which are veg*n. It is generally fresh and tasty. Portions are not that big, though: you would probably count 3 plates per person. Not so cheap in the end 😉

The staff here were welcoming, fun and very good cooks (one of the chefs was also veggie and brilliant to accommodate and advise me)! We had the mushrooms and sweet potato, corguette and pancake things (!). The star of the show was the courgette. Definitely order This! The decor was traditional Portuguese. We had a brilliant experience here and would advise all to check it out! A total hidden gem. Ooo and if you have a sweet tooth the salted caramel cake thing was to DIE for 🫶

Interesting and tasty vegan tapas options. Not great variety for vegan, but since they opened (and I’ve been visiting it irregularly ever since) they always looked to present vegan options. Last time I went I was with a big group and the waitress was just not in the mood to attend us, the food was nice but could be improved a bit.

Unfortunately we passed by during a party so the vegan options weren't many but the staff was amazingly kind and adjusted some for us, even with the restaurant and the surrounding area completely crowded. The food was very tasty and their kindness was noted. We were grateful.

Lots of vegan options in this cozy, traditional Portuguese cozinha. The food is magnificent. It also serves fish and meat, but more than enough plant-based tapas to make up for a romantic little dinner in an old Faro street.

The food, was fantastic. Honestly we went on a whim when another reservation fell through, and it was one of our favourite places of the whole holiday. The food was beautiful and i whole heartedly recommend it. The food comes as it's ready. As a couple we ordered 5 plates of food which suited is well enough with a pint each and the peach crumble which was also wonderful.. a fantastic surprise!
