An oasis in Sintra - Edit
When I visited, there was a set lunch including a starter, a main dish and a small dessert, at a very reasonable price. You could choose between a vegetarian and a vegan version. Simple, yet extremely tasty food, an atmosphere to die for (in my opinion, maybe my view is a bit too extreme ;-)) and very charming people.

Delicious Homemade Food - Edit
We came to this restaurant during a quick stop to Sintra, and were pleasantly surprised to find that the menu was a pre-set meal of 3 courses (all of which can easily be made vegan, if they are not already). The food is made in large batches and is served to you almost immediately, which was a pro since we only had an hour lunch break during our tour of the town. Everything was fresh and delicious, filling but not overwhelming - the perfect amount for a healthy lunch. The two ladies who worked there were very kind and clearly put a lot of love into the food. This place is a gem among the tourist-trap restaurants that can be found in other parts of town!

Great choice - Edit
The day I went the meal of the day included toast with hummus plus the main plate that included mashed potatoes, mushrooms and a salad. There was also a tiny plate with cherries plums and an apricot for dessert. The current meal of the day costs 10 euros which is a good value in Portugal. I would definitely return here if I come back to Sintra. Currently closes on Sunday and Monday but may start opening on Sundays.

Surprising vegan meal in the middle of Sintra - Edit
We were very surprised to find a good vegan meal here in Sintra. Even if the restaurant is officially vegetarian, they always have 2 meals of the day: one vegetarian and one vegan. The food was delicious and cheap. It includes a starter, main course, desert and beverage. The best of everything is that everything used grows in the area! The two lovely ladies are very kind and inspiring! Please go visit them!

Great! - Edit
Great place, lovely staff, delicious food. It's a vegetarian restaurant but vegan is no problem so instead of the starter with goatcheese I got soup. I loved the decoration and the ambiance here and the enthousiasm of the two ladies running this place. Plus, it's realy not expensive.

One of the best food experiences in Sintra and Lisbon - Edit
That was the place I visited on the last day of my stay in Portugal. And I shall say that it was amazing experience. First I liked the place and its spacious and full of fresh air atmosphere. Second the staff was really friendly and so helpful. The last but not least is the great food. They have a concept of selling the whole menu for the day which changes everyday and you can check what they have today on their Facebook page. Me and my friend shared the menu for one person. But you shouldn’t repeat our mistake and take the whole one for yourself since it was really delicious and exquisite. The dessert was just heaven.

Great concept! - Edit
Really tasty vegetable curry. The place is really nice and right in the centre of Sintra's old town. The concept, which seeks to promote local agriculture and seasonal products, makes it even better!
