Wildly overrated and overpriced - Edit
I was really eager to try their eggs benedict after being vegan for so many years. The price (12.5€) for a toast was hefty but i expected a lot. (They do not have heating inside and it is freezing in the winter) Turns out the white bread is soggy and untoasted, same for the bacon and the “eggs” were just two big balls of COLD coconut based cream cheese drenched in a sauce based on coconut oil- definitely more a sad cream cheese bread than eggs benedict. I hate to leave food but i couldnt finish it, it was just all oil. Honestly the tastiest thing was the starter on the house which consisted of a brioche and (you guessed it) more cream cheese. Deserves less stars, at least the food looks appealing and staff was friendly. #Veganuary

Delicious vegan treats, like abundant chocolates and flavorful croissants with various fillings. Cream pastries are excellent too. The place is calm and spacious. 5-star service—attentive and friendly. Among the best pastries I've ever had.

Great vegan pasteis de nata although expensive - Edit
A padoca is an all vegan portuguese bakery with vegan natas and chocolates among other treats. However, when we visited it it only had the natas and a lot of types of croissants with covering (not filling), with a price point of almost 4€ for the croissants and 2€ for the natas. Coffees were around 3€, which to me overall is expensive for Portugal. I missed some traditional sweets like bolo de arroz or other portuguese treats instead of that huge variety of croissants. To sum up, place is good, the baked goods are good but we were not impressed with the price range and the lack of traditional sweets varieties.

Went here for breakfast, the place is nice and the staff was very helpful and happy to explain everything. They have a great pastry selection which I'd rate 5 stars, sadly I didn't get to try any of the other lovely pastries but got some pastel de nata to go which were absolutely delicious!!
Read moreThey gave us a homemade carrot bread with cashew dip and pumpkin jam which I found very unique and enjoyed. The sandwich I had was good, healthy and filling, though the scrambled egg substitute was kind of tasteless but the other ingredients made up for it. Also I ordered an iced coffee, especting, well, an iced coffee, but I don't know if I understood the menu wrongly because what I ended up getting was a coffee with a mashmallow like whipped cream and lots of syrup which was sadly too sweet for me to finish and generally difficult to drink because of the seeds along the glass edge— that's why only the four stars. But I'd definitely go there again and recommend it, though probably more for the bakery aspect than for brunch.

First thing first. We had an enjoyable time eating the brunch there (everything delicious) but while leaving we found out that they were serving cow milk on the coffee if the customer didn't specify the contrary (when all the homemade beverages run out of stock).
Read moreConfused to see that (apparently the whole site was vegan) , we asked the staff ... Who told us that certain customers always ask for cow milk , so they keep It on the menu. No kidding, just as mad as It sounds.
Obviously we left without the truth if our food was really vegan or not...

We ran into this place by accident. It’s a little gem in Porto that serves the best vegan pastel de nata. They have lots of baked goods, I didn’t get to try them because we opted for pancakes and a breakfast entre. The pancakes were amazing. The Greek vegan scramble was good, but the vegan egg was too dry for my taste. I would like to see them try making a vegan scramble with tofu.
