Love this store! - Edit
I came here multiple times while in Newport. They have many healthy food options and interesting finds. Their prepared foods are also very good and have a large vegan selection. Everything is clearly labeled.

A Market is a phenomenal resource for anybody wanting to eat healthier, not even just for those who do not eat meat! They are always stocked with excellent snacks (like vegan cheddar squares, yum!!) and some quick to-go containers you can grab for lunch. Highly recommend you check it out during your stay.

We're happy to let you know that A Market is still there and thriving - seeing as they haven't bee reviewed in over 6 years. A Market is your standard smaller health food store. There's always a number of vegan items available. The shop is in a plaza at the end of Bellevue Ave - just down the street from most of the famous mansions. Great place for tourists to stock up on some snacks or save a little $ by skipping the restaurants.

i have spoken to several 'managers' several times to have little rhody eggs removed. they are unethical. google it. i have never heard back from them once.

Pros: knowledgeable staff, delish soups
