Very cute place with very limited vegan options - Edit

we went here for Easter brunch after I called to verify vegan menu options. We get there and there's basically only salad for me to eat. even the tomato soup is made with chicken stock. On the upside they did have blackened tofu as an option for the salad, although the waitress originally said they did not have tofu on Sundays. Staff is not considerably knowledgeable about vegan items. Was originally told the French toast was vegan until I asked her specifically about the batter. Great atmosphere outside for kids to play and parents to kick back and have some drinks. The mimosas we're good and only $3. Cute place but just call ahead and don't expect too many vegan options!

Pros: Some vegan options Tofu Great atmosphere

Cons: Very few vegan options marginally knowledgeable st

Charming - Edit

We ate outside in the leaf mulch on a pleasant spring evening, with overhead canopy, tinkling lights and propane heaters. Some interesting vegetarian, southern style choices though unfortunately menu doesn't designate any of these, so you have to ask about ingredients. Pleasant, helpful wait staff.

Pros: low country southern flavor, great atmosphere, friendly staff

Cons: menu doesn't designate veg options, more info reqd to comment on vegan optio

Great casual dining - Edit

This is a great place to kick back, order some frozen flavored moonshine and relax! The blackened tofu sandwich was great!! The home made pickles were delicious. It's got a couple of vegan friendly options, so it's a great place to kick back with your carnivorous friends.

Pros: Friendly staff, Casual atmosphere, Outdoor dining

Cons: No vegan dessert option

Lowcountry, high quality - Edit

My wife and I stumbled upon this place via the happy cow app while vacationing here this summer, I noted a few positive mentions of this restaurant while doing a quick search and decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised with menu being friendly to both veg and non veg persons while still being simple and flexible. The staff was extremely friendly and seemed genuinely happy to serve probably due to it being a smaller size relaxed down home style restaurant. A Low Country Backyard is a must visit over many others in a summer vacation town of over 250 restaurants.

Pros: Friendly staff, Reasonable adult beverage prices, Veg Friendliness

Cons: Not one I could find
