Adorable place, super friendly staff. Food was so good! I had the waffles, hubby had the loaded fries hash. Both were amazing. Coffee was yummy. The star of the show? The pastry case. The churro cake was DIVINE and we will be back to get it again on our short trip!

Vegan Cuban food - Edit
I am in Orlando on a work trip. Over the weekend I found this establishment when looking for a vegan breakfast place. A Lo Vegano serves brunch, dinner, and pastries! The food is impeccable and the serving sizes were very reasonable for the price. Would recommend this place to any and all vegans living or traveling to Orlando.

vibrant atmosphere, delicious food - Edit
The staff is VERY welcoming upon entering the restaurant, followed by a very convenient way of ordering food via multiple kiosks or a staff for a very specific order. It's fairly difficult finding a whole vegan eatery, let alone a cuban style so this restaurant was heaven sent. The desserts "vegan scoops," is also run by the same staff and boy were the selections were mouth watering. My girlfriend and I ordered multiple entress such as the brunch pick 3, and the croissant bacon egg and cheese which was super delighting. I would definitely come back here multiple times and give a huge shoutout to the man who made it all possible: Andres, in which he is on of the most humbling, welcoming , down to earth person there.

Cool Multi-Business Spot - Edit
This vegan Cuban place is in a shared restaurant with a soul food place and a vegan desert place. I really liked the vegan calamari and the white wine pasta. Only wished it still came with shrimp instead of the chicken! The ham and cheese croissant was okay but a little tough.

Amazing breakfast and shop area with lovely snacks and cheese - Edit
Great service, amazing food, probably the best we have had in Florida, and as good as the food we tried in New Orleans. Outstanding vegan 'eggs' and homemade crispy 'bacon'. It was so good that we are going back with friends today to try the Cuban menu. Also, there is a vintage kilo clothes store next door.

Insane Breakfasts!! - Edit
Quite possibly the best vegan breakfast I’ve ever had! I end up in Orlando for work about one out of every three or four months, and this place has become a regular in my rotation. Just insanely good breakfast. Someone else mentioned probably the best vegan bacon and I have to agree. That’s Sunny side of egg that’s so freaking real. The hashbrowns are just deliciously cooked. Everything just so hearty and delicious. My only gripe is that they don’t seem to have the freshest fruit but then again don’t come here for the fruit come for these insanely real, greasy spoon, amazing breakfasts/brunches.

Great brunch flavors and drinks! We got two of the Pick 3s, the fry scramble, and croissant sandwich. We also ordered three passion fruit lemonades and an iced white chocolate iced coffee. Service was warm and professional. The setting is cozy and family friendly. Highly recommend!

Waffle breakfast sandwiches and more - Edit
As well as veganized Cuban food, there is a large amount of cakes as well as ice cream to choose from. The strawberry shortcake was extremely decadent. The sweetness was level 10. The waffle sandwich was pretty tasty. Service was nice and not long after we arrived, it got super busy. I was glad to see that 😁

Love this spot. Small but very good menu, you order on a tablet and they bring the food pretty quickly. Friendly staff. It's a little expensive but the portions are huge. You can definitely split a plate with 2 people.

Enough for two meals!!! - Edit
Visited on a Monday when their sister tenant that specializes in dessert was closed, we knew that in advance. We were pleasantly surprised upon arrival to find we could still get dessert, but it’s first come first serve. We were lucky enough to get the last almond cake chocolate mouse that turned into our appetizer because they gave it to us before our food arrived lol.
Read moreWe both did build your own meals with one of us getting the mushroom based chicken cutlet, beans &rice, and tostones. Her reaction was I cannot believe this is mushroom; it’s so good. I did build your own and chose three sides; black beans, yucca w/ mojo and white rice. Both of us extremely satisfied with our meals and both taking enough home for another meal at home.
Definitely worth the visit to check them out. Sidenote they had a Sriracha Tabasco sauce. I was a little skeptical, but it slaps.
Didn’t find out until after I tipped that you also have to clean your own table, so keep that in mind.

Inside Market on South with lots of parking in front and back. Food is ordered at the digital kiosk and there is also ice cream by Vegan Scoops and baked goods for sale. Family friendly with a kids play area and specialty items are for sale like candies, cheeses and wines. The empanadas were soooo good and staff was very nice.

Delicious and Authentic Vegan Cuban Cuisine - Edit
A Lo Vegano is, without a doubt, the BEST vegan Cuban food I have ever had the honor and privilege of experiencing. From the very first bite to the last, every aspect of this meal was a love letter to authentic Cuban cuisine—crafted without compromise and overflowing with care, passion, and incredible flavor. As someone who is 39 weeks pregnant, with cravings as specific as they are intense, I cannot begin to express how deeply satisfying and nostalgic this meal was. It transported me right back to afternoons in my Abuela’s kitchen, where the air was filled with warmth, love, and the unmistakable aroma of comfort food made from the heart. A Lo Vegano perfectly captured that essence in every detail, from the smell to the taste. Not one portion of this meal disappointed.
Read moreThe team and staff at A Lo Vegano are nothing short of extraordinary. Their kindness, attentiveness, and genuine care made the experience even more special. As my family and I waited for our order, they consistently checked on us, sharing smiles, warmth, and little moments that made us feel like more than just customers—they made us feel like family. Their thoughtfulness went above and beyond when they gifted me a bag of goodies and the sweetest dessert, knowing I could go into labor at any moment. To say this meal was made with L.O.V.E. would be an understatement. It wasn’t just food—it was a beautiful act of service and connection.
As for the menu, let me tell you, every single item was an absolute masterpiece. I’m talking about the shrimp pasta, the chick’n cutlets, the plant-based steaks—each one bursting with flavor and seasoned to perfection. The breakfast waffle and croissant sandwiches were a revelation, and the yuca fries, mojo pork, and classic Cuban rice and beans were just as incredible. And don’t even get me started on the sauces—they were so good they could’ve been a meal on their own! And then there’s the Cuban bread. My goodness. Every bite of that bread was pure bliss, warm and soft, and so authentically Cuban that it made my heart swell.
As a pregnant foodie who has traveled the nation sampling vegan spots, I can say without hesitation that A Lo Vegano has earned the top spot on my list. This isn’t just a restaurant—it’s an experience of culture, care, and community woven into every bite. They’ve managed to preserve the essence of traditional Cuban cuisine while making it accessible to plant-based diners, something that is no easy feat!
Pros: Flavor, Nostalgic tastes, Variety of items to choose from
Cons: N/A
