I ate good in my neighborhood!

I am so happy that I found this place. I am not Vegan but my BFF is. We were on our way to a restaurant 45 min. away but the rain prompted us to look closer.
We tried 3 of the 4 the empanadas and love each one. My favorite was the Philly and my BFF's favorite was the jackfruit and curry with the chipotle mayo that came on the side.
I chose the BBQ burger for my entree with a side of sweet potato fries. The burger came with grilled pineapple on top that added a pleasant sweetness to compliment the slight spice, the fries were crispy and seasoned just right.
My BFF had the broccoli alfredo. She enjoyed the crispness of the broccoli and enjoyed the whole wheat pasta.
I was too full to eat anything else but I did take a piece of carrot cake home. It was dense but not dry and tasted delicious.
We will be back!

Pros: Nice atmosphere, great vegan food, Close to home, Friendly service

Cons: No curtain in the front window.

Great Atmosphere, Great People & Great Food!

The place is really cool. The front of the restaurant is a sit down dining which is very spacious. The back of the restaurant has a juice bar and a stage for live music. The staff here were very friendly and welcoming. I had the empanadas (Pizza, Jackfruit, and Philly Cheesesteak), Ital Stew, Ashleys Un-Tuna Melt, and the Mac & Cheese. They were all very yummy. The Ital stew was excellent but a bit spicy. My favorites are Ashley's Un-Tuna Melt, Philly Cheesesteak Empanada, and the Mac & Cheese. Ashley's Un-Tuna Melt being my absolute favorite considering the flavor, price, and satiation. I highly recommend this place!

Pros: Great Food, Friendly staff, Cool Atmosphere

Just wow!

There are few vegan restaurants in Queens and A Live Kitchen is an appreciated addition. With its ecclectic menu, gluten free options, great music and friendly staff, you need to come here. Ask about the dinner specials and desserts!
So good my boyfriend are ALL of the carrot cake.

Pros: Lots of tasty vegan options, Healthy , Extremely friendly staff and owner
