Good food in breathtaking atmosphere, particularly in summer where you can sit on the terrace with a lovely view of the Orval Abbey surrounded by forests.

Why would you make a menu with vegetarian marks and vegan marks on the side if you don't [censored] respect it?
Read moreFirst, I ask if the V stands for vegan, to be sure. The waiter says it is vegetarian and I ask what the green mark then means (which states: 100% vegetarian) if the V means vegetarian.
Second, I order the soup and make sure there is no cream in it. The guy says it is next to the bowl and I ask to serve it without. ( I mean if it's served they will have to throw it to the rubbish). They serve it with the cream!!! How should I make it clearer??
Third, I ask for the desert on the menu which also has the V mark, so vegan right? (it says strawberries with sugar) I mean I even ask without cream, so I don't get chantilly or anything weird. THEY CAME WITH ICECREAM AND CHANTILLY. WHY DOES IT STATES IT IS VEGAN ON THE MENU? JUST SAY YOU DON'T HAVE ANY VEGAN DESERT.
in short: I feel deceived, I do not recommend as the food was bad and not cheap. And they clearly don't care about vegans.

First restaurant we find in two weeks Ardennes with multiple vegan options: soup of the day, green salad, baked veggies with rice, vegan poke bowl and vegan lasagna.
