Serves meat, vegan options available. Italian restaurant serving pasta, salad and wine. Has a few vegan pasta dishes and a vegan salad. Open Wed-Sun 12:00-15:30, 19:00-22:30.
Closed Mon-Tue.
I ended up here with my non-vegan friends while looking for a place to hide from a sudden thunderstorm, plus it was dinner time, so…
didn’t know anything about the place or if they had vegan options at all. they do have some and they’re also clearly labelled as vegan on the menu (forgot to take a picture, sorry).
I had pici al pomodoro (a local type of pasta with tomato sauce) - tasty and simple, you can tell that the pasta is homemade. the other main vegan option is pici all’aglione (same pasta with garlic, fresh tomato, basil and walnuts), I tried some of that too and it’s just as delicious.
I also loved that they serve pasta in pots instead of plates, and have intentionally mismatching cutlery, glasses and furniture, it all adds to the feeling that you’re eating at your family’s place just like the name implies. wish we had better luck with the weather, they have tables outside and it’s located on the main street so there’s also a nice view on the town.
overall a cozy and nice place that offers simple but tasty vegan options.
the best pasta i had my whole time in italy! i had the spaghetti agliole (big spaghetti with garlic and walnut oil, cherry tomatoes and herbs). it was delicious, i am still dreaming of it! for the pasta and some water it was €15, including table charge.
