rare and satisfying - Edit
a true happy place for every vegan in corsica. the restaurant is located in the old town in a relatively quiet street so we chose to sit outside with our dog who was also very welcomed. our waitress was absolutely lovely, kind and spoke english😄she pointed out all the vegan options we had, so we chose the humus plate with toasted bread and both the vegan burger with baked potatoes which were tasty and filling!

Loved my time at A Casa Leca! The waiter made us feel really welcome, and gladly explained the vegan dishes to us. I had the risotto, and that was soo tasty 🥰 If you're in Ajaccio, you need to check this out!

All the non-vegan dishes looked amazing. But the vegan options lacked creativity. Had the burger there and the buns were dry/burnt.

Good alternative to Pizza and Pasta! - Edit
We did like the food but looking at the price it could have been more extraordinary. It might just be the Corsica prices and I think everything is organic but still not 100% convinced. The food was still good and the staff was also very friendly.

Waitress spoke English well and I enjoyed my lunch.

Real vegan options for a satisfying meal - Edit
The restaurant offers real vegan options (one wine, one main plate and two desserts)! I had a couscous that had both chickpeas and soy protein chunks, and a coffee and chocolate cake. The plus side is that the staff are really friendly and make the whole experience really good.

Good to find some diversity! - Edit
When traveling in Corsica as a vegan, you often end up with pasta with tomato sauce or a vegetable pizza, so it’s very nice to find this restaurant! They offer several vegan meals and even dessert.
Read moreWe had the stirred tofu with truffle oil. It wasn’t the best tofu I’ve eaten, it was a little bland and tasteless, it could have been more seasoned. Thought the ratatouille as a side was very good. Because of the tofu was a little bit disappointing, the price of the dish seamed a little bit too expensive.
We also had the mushroom risotto, which was very good.
I had then the chocolate and coconut cake and it was very nice.

NoBest vegan meals in Corsica - Edit
We are finishing 3 weeks in Corsica and looked in each place we went for vegan friendly restaurants. We found a few restaurants that catered for us but none as good as A Casa Leca. They have a wide vegan menu and they source ingredients locally and use organically grown. We had lunch and dinner 3 weeks ago and dinner last night. I highly recommend this restaurant!

I would give 5 Stars if i could. This place is amazing. Innovative, uses special spices, a ton of coice (i think it was 5 mains and additionally starters, we had the tapas). They even have vegan dessert!!!!

Very good restaurant in the centre of Ajaccio - Edit
I visited this restaurant in June and July 2020 while on holiday in Corsica: lunch on two occasions and dinner one time. I tried these three vegan dishes: Wrap Houmous, Assiette Bio Veggie and Burger VG. I also had a dish, which was specially cooked for us (not on the menu), which was made with tofu, black rice and vegetables. I have always liked the meals and felt they were well cooked and light. The dishes were always prepared with care and also beautiful to look at. I also tried the chocolate cake (vegan) and it was delicious. I had a positive impression from the staff, who were always nice and friendly. I would recommend this restaurant.

Ce restaurant propose une sélection de plats vegan tout à fait dignes de ce nom. Parfumés, équilibrés et originaux. Nous y sommes allés 3 fois durant notre séjour en Corse et tout était délicieux (sauf peut-être le café qui était moyen). Les propriétaires sont adorables et passionnés par ce qu'ils font : de la nourriture fraîche, de saison, circuit court et bio, protection de l'environnement. Un vrai bonheur !! Et en plus leurs prix sont raisonnables. Nous étions comblés. Merci.
