So good! Worth a wait - Edit
We arrived about an hr before closing on a Sun and the place was full. But we were seated after 10 min. The food was fresh & superb, and we had a delicious bottle of rose. Servers were really nice! We’d definitely go back.

Best food in town! - Edit
This place is great! Big highlight is their seasonal cocktail menu, always interesting and changing and I’ve never had a bad drink. The vegan cheesesteak, banh mi, and rice bowl are great, the vegan pho is okay, and the vegan nachos are good (think banh mi nachos) but beware the cheese is not melted. The people are so friendly, vibe is good, and many delicious options

Mixed Experience - creative menu, but not all favors hit - Edit
3,5 stars
Read moreI was excited to try 98 Center Moab for its vegan-friendly options and creative menu. I ordered the vegan nachos, vegan cheesesteak, and a cup of vegan pho. Unfortunately, none of these really worked for me.
The nachos had an overwhelming amount of vegan cheese, which didn’t blend well with the other ingredients—the flavor felt heavy and not well balanced. The vegan cheesesteak didn’t suit my taste either, mainly because of the texture and flavor of the ground mushrooms—it came off a bit too earthy and soft. The vegan pho broth also didn’t quite land for me—it lacked the depth and brightness I look for in a good pho.
That said, I appreciated the effort to offer unique vegan dishes in Moab, and the atmosphere is casual and welcoming. I’d be willing to return and try something like the Mien Chay salad or vegan bánh mì, especially without mushrooms or heavy vegan cheese.
If you’re into mushrooms and bold vegan cheeses, you might enjoy it more than I did. Just be aware that the flavors are pretty specific!
Pros: The staff is welcoming and very nice, They got more plant based options than the average, Good drinks
Cons: Pho was disappointing in taste, Too much Vegan cheese in the Vegan nachos, Mushrooms in the cheesesteak feels too mushy.

INCREDIBLE!!!! - Edit
Best meal in Moab! The vegan cheesesteak is life-changing. The bahn mi was so fresh. All of the ingredients were locally sourced. The local kombucha was so refreshing on a hot day. Tara was so kind and patient with our 3 vegan kids. We loved the vibe. Seriously, amazing!

Such amazing vegan food. - Edit
I got the vegan bahn mi with tofu and it was delicious. This sando comes with Serrano peppers so if you’re sensitive to spice be careful. The vegan mushroom pho was amazing too.

Read moreWe ate here again and had the kimchi tofu nachos and the mushroom cheesesteak. Both were delish!!
We were spending a night in Moab and came across 98 Center as we were headed to the Thai restaurant next door. We were there just as it opened- lucky us-because it got busy and had a line before long. Delicious, FRESH, unique food with a Vietnamese theme. Get the nachos! We also took a vegan cheesecake to go.

Went here with my family and they have a few vegan options on the kids menu too. Everything we had was good. Some dishes were not too flavorful, but they provided several extra sauces. The kids loved their vegan cheese in the kids grilled cheese.

Great! - Edit
I had the vegan banh mi sandwich and it was delicious! I shared a side salad with my daughter and there were three house made vegan dressings to choose from. All vegan items on the menu were clearly labeled. My husband had the beef cheesesteak and said it was one of the best he’s ever had. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Would totally recommend!

Vegan Pho! - Edit
Kitchen was just remodeled, and they are back open!(reduced days for winter). If you order the Vegan cheez steak, be sure to ask them to hold veganaise unless you want it extra greasy. Last one I had was way too much mayo!! Friendly staff, and their sister Sabaku also offers more veg rolls than any other sushi place I've been to.

Excellent Salads - Edit
We ate here twice during our stay in Moab. The Vegan Bahn Mi Salad is huge, fresh, and delicious. The variety of veggies made it really flavorful, and the vegan dressings (noted as such on the menu) were very flavorful. You can add grilled portobello or tofu, and both were well seasoned and tasty. We got a generous side of kimchee that was tangy and delicious. On our second visit we also got the Vegan Bahn Mi Sandwich with portobello. It was stuffed full and super flavorful. The service was friendly and helpful, and we really enjoyed the outdoor patio. Highly recommend this place!!

They actually have genuinely good vegan food and they aren’t just getting a good review because they have vegan options. I had the vegan cheesesteak roll, massive portion as I have come to expect in the US and delicious. Also had the cheesecake which was ok. They also have pho, nachos and bahn mi as an option.

Joy to Find in the Vegan Desert - Edit
We've been to Utah to hike frequently enough to know that the vegan food is either non-existent, limited, or boring. After 3 days in Bryce we arrived in Utah hungry for a decent meal. THANK YOU, 98 Center. Many choices, all of them delicious, especially the pho and yummy grilled tofu. Going back for lunch today.

Outstanding food, outstanding service, friendly atmosphere - Edit
The vegan cheesesteak is among the best cheesesteaks of any kind we've ever had, and we're from Philadelphia! Super-tasty. The pho bowl was delicious and filling. Nice beer selection. Our waiter was attentive and excellent, and found time for good conversation, too. Sitting at the long high table family style with other diners gave opportunity for more conversation, and best of all, we happened to meet one of the owners, Alex, and got a hot tip from him on a little-known nearby canyon-and-arch hike, which turned out to be awesome.

Delicious sandwich. Friendly service. I ordered carryout and walked away thinking the bag of chips that came with the sandwich were the kettle corn I ordered. Sandwich was so good I’ll be back again before I leave town and hopefully I’ll get my kettle corn then! 😄
