Beautiful place, lovely food - Edit
We spent a brilliant evening at The Secret Garden for a friend's birthday. The decor is so amazing, there's so much to see! Most of the group are vegan. We all really enjoyed the food. I had the cauliflower starter and stuffed mushrooms main, plus several cocktails! Highly recommend a visit!

We went to an unusual little restaurant in Newcastle under Lyme last night (85 Secret Garden) because some of the dishes looked very veggie and vegan friendly. It was all delicious and freshly prepared - no cook chill rubbish. I had: STARTER Buffalo cauliflower fritters topped with toasted sesame seeds, served with a coconut and tahini dip (no horrible deep fried batter on it); MAINS Quinoa and sautéed greens with mixed leaves (loads of variety in both the greens and salad leaves), fresh orange and dried cranberries tossed in a tahini dressing. Plentiful and filling … what’s not to like 😁. If you’re ever in the area give it a try

Gorgeous, quality furnishings and impeccable customer service. Only one vegan option (the chickpea vegan burger) on the dinner menu which was a little dry and nothing special. Several other vegetarian options. Needs a few more vegan options on the menu.

I booked 85 secret garden for a hen do. There were two vegans in the group and we were catered for food wise. I had the vegan meatball board which has meatballs in tomato sauce, pesto, herby potatoes, olives and bread one and wow it did not disappoint it was incredible. For dessert was pear and sticky toffee pudding with vegan ice cream which was delicious also. The service was amazing and the cocktails were divine. The only negative is the portions were small but you definitely are paying for quality over quantity. I would 100% recommend visiting here.
