Wide variety of food, some vegan options - Edit
7 sisters is a cozy place in a rather quiet street. The menu is extremely long and the staff friendly. The food was more on the expensive side and quite average.

Disappointment - Edit
We were really disappointed by the food we got. Mushrooms out of a can, meat in lentil soup which hasn't been declared like that on the menu, tomato sauce which I wouldn't have recognised as such in a blind degustation. The atmosphere is beautiful and romantic at night. However, we paid at least twice as much as in other restaurants in Myanmar.

Dear PatiRati,
Read moreWe have checked it with our chefs:
We do not cook with mushrooms from cans. All our ingredients are fresh from the market.
Also we do not use meat in our Myanmar style lentil soup with vermicelli.

Nice place, tasty food, more expensive - Edit
This was the most expensive but also the fanciest place where we were eating in Bagan. The food was tasty and the staff friendly and helpful. Portions were good. It’s a place for tourists, and so were all the guests (no negative point😄). If you’re on a tight budget, this place is not for you, except you have something to celebrate :). But if you don’t mind, this place is a must-visit.

A warm welcome in our restaurant from the Sisters - Edit
The "7 Sisters Restaurant" is a beautiful, romantic open air restaurant, where you can enjoy a wide array of Myanmar, Chinese, Thai and European dishes. A place where the flavours of Asia blend with refinement and delicacy. As the name suggests, it's an initiative of seven sisters. You will find it a clean and comfortable place for breakfast, lunch and dinner or just a refreshing drink on a warm afternoon. The restaurant is built like an authentic Tazaung (a Buddhist adoration hall or shrine pavilion). The framework of the building consists of fourteen genuine massive teak pillars and large teak beams to support the roof. It's located on a quiet corner of 3rd Street and Nwe Ni Street, just a one minute walk from the Eight Faces Pagoda in the centre of New Bagan, away from the noisy and dusty main street.
