Frozen food cooked in microwave tasted really old - Edit
Food cooked in the microwave, unevenly reheated. Some parts still frozen with liquid at the bottom. One of the sauces tased fizzy. I was very worried for my health after eating here. I would avoid at all costs

So yummy - Edit
Incredibly authentic and yummy. They don't use dairy so nearly all meals on the menu, with the green dots, can be made vegan. Lots of vegan deserts too

Interesting flavours - Edit
The place can be a little busy. If the tables look full downstairs, go in and ask for a table anyway because they have an upstairs seating area you cannot see from the street. Feels like a very family run restaurant. Service can be a little slow especially if they are busy. They have a few vegan and vegetarian options, and the wait staff can helpfully point them out if you are not sure. I ordered a thali and experienced some interesting flavours served up on a big banana leaf. Although my Sri Lankan friend said it doesn't quite taste the same as what you get in Sri Lanka, it was tasty nevertheless.

Was looking for a Sri Lankan restaurant and this was the closest to us. Was so amazed that they had tons of vegan options! The food is authentic and top notch. Not super heavy which is great. Service is friendly. Highly recommend.

Flavoursome Sri Lankan vegan food - Edit
Delicious, hearty, vegan-friendly Sri Lankan food. I had the lumprice (which tastes better than it sounds!), and sweet Kiri appa.
Read moreI was pleasantly surprised to learn that Sri Lankans don't use dairy AT ALL.
The owners were lovely and attentive. I gave the lady a Happy Cow Excellent Reviews sticker, and she was delighted and appreciative. I also suggested having a vegan menu, and she was very receptive.
Will be back!

Great sambol - Edit
Ordered their 'Rice and Curry' with 3 veg curries, plus a big pot of coconut sambol and a coconut roti. Cost $19
Read moreThe curries seemed boring at first, but their flavours soon emerged. The sambol, on the other hand, was gloriously unsubtle and simply marvellous
Pros: Great sambol, Good size portions, Charming people

A Taste-bud Adventure - Edit
Absolutely love vegan food from this 7 Siri!
Read moreWe have tried Sri Lankan food before and was underwhelmed . Also, not a huge fan of Indian food but this place was something else.
The flavours were so amazing, perfect balance of spices and herbs - I felt great eating it.
So many vegan options, the curry rolls are a great starter, lump rice was so good, the pol roti and roti meal were delicious, the eggplant and coconut dhal curries were sensational. Best dosa I've had, plain appa was really good.
Pickled onions and all the side dishes all complemented the mains. Really friendly and helpful. They use coconut oil for their cooking, also a separate fryer for vegetarian food. I love coconut so the fact that Sri Lankan food uses lots of coconut instead of ghee and animal based fats is really good to know.
I definitely can't wait to go back.
Pros: Vegan Options, Roti - Curry Rolls, Lump Rice - Dosa
Cons: Would be good if it were 100% Vegan

Delicious Vegan Options - Edit
The owner and staff are delightful and so helpful. The food was amazing and pretty much everything could be made pure vegitarian/vegan. My friend and I had the mix of curries with rice wrapped in banana leaves, with roti on the side...best food I've had in ages. Relatively inexpensive and quick service. Love the ambience/aesthetic too. Highly recommend!

Yummy coconut pancakes - Edit
Went with other vegans and was amazed at how many dishes were either vegan or easily made vegan. The owner bent over backwards to accommodate us as vegans and was so helpful and had plenty of suggestions. Far more options than you could possibly eat. It was great to be able to try Sri Lankan food as a vegan and not just have 1 or 2 choices. There were even vegan starters and desserts. I loved the coconut pancakes.
