Nice little Café/ Restaurant - Edit
We had a vegetable cake with rice salad and ist was delicious. It was improvised by the cook as we were a bit late for lunch. This was very nice!

Great tea experience - Edit
We didn't eat lunch here, but had a great tea experience. They do offer vegan and vegetarian lunch options. They also have vegan pastries but we're sold out by the time we arrived at 1300.

Amazing teas - Edit
We were looking for tea on an unusually cold November day in Aix and found this please really cozy. They also had 3 vegan food options in their daily menu.

one of my favorite restaurant in Aix ! - Edit
One of my favorite (if not the number one) vegan restaurant and tea place in Aix.
Read moreIt always offers vegan and gluten-free meals, everything is written so you know immediately what you can eat.
The owner is really friendly and knows a lot about tea. He does his own herbal teas and it changes regularly.
All the meals and desserts are also handmade and a lot of them are organic.
It has a lot of original teas and different kind of honey come with it according to what you order. It can be a good point if you're vegetarian, but if you're vegan tell him in advance that you don't want any honey !
Pros: indoor and outdoor seating in a lovely place., really friendly owner knows everything about place, everything handmade

Excellent tea and meals - Edit
We were really impressed by the tea menu and quality of the tea we got (an English Breakfast and Ceylon). We were expecting more breakfast-y options but the mushroom tart and sweet potato soup we got were delicious. The tart had one of the best vegan crusts I've ever had with a filling of vegan cheese, smoky tofu, mushrooms, and vegetables. There was one other special that was vegan as well. We arrived too early for the days vegan desserts to be ready, but did have a gluten free cookie that was also vegan (a bit dry but good).
Read moreIt was nice to see gluten free options, but not all gluten free options are vegan. If you don't specify that you don't want honey, it may come automatically with some teas.
Pros: Big menu of teas (including many herbal teas), Vegan specials, Outdoor and indoor seating

Best vegan breakfast in town - Edit
It was a great surprise to discover this place! It is all organic, home-made by a naturopathe chef, healthy and delicious. Me and my girlfriend are vegans in Aix and we were delighted to have a personnalized breakfast with agave syrup instead of honey, herbal teas, bread and jam, and delicious vegan chocolate cake and mousse. The staff is super friendly, knowledgeable about veganism, and they offered us a menu the first time! there is also 10% discount for students.

Cons: Really, as a vegan I couldn't find any negativ

Winter Lunch at the Tisanerie - Edit
I came here for lunch with two non-vegan friends after having bought a tasty vegan pear and almond tart (~5 Euros for a half-tart serving) a few weeks previously. The Tisanerie's owners are very friendly and generous, and the food they prepare is entirely organic, or "bio" as they say here. There was no seating left inside so we sat outside (with big blankets), but we kept warm with a vegan carrot and root vegetable soup (which was served with non-vegan bread, for 6,50 Euros). I also got a vegan "tourte"—like a vegetable pie filled with broccoli, carrot, and chard—served with a side salad (9 Euros). Though we didn't get tea, I have heard there is a big, tasty selection!

Pros: Daily vegan "plat" (main) changes often , ingredients are organic and seasonal, staff is very friendly
Cons: I was not told the bread was non-vegan (had to ask, busy at lunchtime (a good sign, though!), closed for dinner
