A most unpleasant experience with the manager after expressing dissatisfaction with a main course - Edit
Would not recommend and would never return. For my main course, (salted chilli chicken). the dish was saturated in a sweet chilli sauce. Could not taste the salted chicken or the fresh chilli as the dish was so overpowering with a sweet chilli sauce. Had to transfer the dinner from the bowl to the underplate to reduce the sauce content on the food. Was not even going to tell the staff member who was taking the plates away until my husband presuaded me to say something. I did and minutes later a manager came out and unbelievably had a go at me after I explained to him again about the meal. He commented that I told a 16 year old to go into the chef to tell him that the dinner was disgusting. While I explained the issue with the dinner and did comment that the dinner was disgusting, at no point did I tell anybody to tell the chef that the dinner was disgusting. Neither did I know that the staff member was a 16.year old. My husband stated the same and also said it was the company's choice who they employed and this was nothing got to do with the quality of the meal. The manager walked off and when I looked around the restaurant I could see that other customers were looking over. I found the hostile experience with the manager very humiliating and embarrassing and it ruined our night as we had never an encounter with a manager like this before.

The menu didn't have anything listed but the staff couldn't have done more to suggest options for us and knew exactly what was and wasn't vegan to suggest to us!

This is just for info. We went here this evening. There is nothing vegan on the menu currently. Presumably the menu is restricted given that only outdoor dining is permitted by law so probably not representative of their norm. I asked a staff member was anything vegan while queuing. He looked at the menu and suggested the veg burger without cheese. He had to ask the kitchen. The vegetable enchiladas could be made without cream was the only suggestion. We went to infinity instead. We noticed that Babushka had several attractive vegan options but was closing when we arrived. Just posting this to save you queuing unnecessarily if you are vegan. If you are vegetarian there were three items on the mains.

Lovely location, well appointed. But all they have is stuffed pepper. I noticed other people saying big portions... were got one pepper each with rice inside. Not very filling, fairly standard flavour wise and almost £14!

When we arrived about 6pm the place was packed and we were asked to wait 30 minutes (actually 45). There's very limited vegan options on the menu and we both went for stuffed peppers (which was a single stuffed red pepper) with chips/wedges. No vegan desserts available. This is possibly the only vegan options place for miles. Strongly recommend booking.

Love this place! - Edit
My husband and I had the vegan stuffed peppers for dinner and garlic mushrooms as a side. We left stuffed! :) The mushrooms came in a huge bowl and each dinner consisted of a yellow, green, and red stuffed pepper half. The staff was very attentive and kind. If the food and staff aren't reason enough to go, go for the view.
