Over the years this place attempt to be all-veg then not and then yes again per latest report 2015. Small setting with several tables so better to make a reservation; gets crowded. Offers an array of vegan dishes. Menu changes daily. Open Tue-Sun 12:00-15:00, 19:30-22:00.

The quality and quaintness make it a must eat - Edit
We found the restaurant hard to locate at first as it’s a little off the beaten track but once we did we felt right at home, an amazing little place with brilliant staff who were very accommodating and helpful we explained we were vegan and he was great and helping us with the menu, pasta there is delicious.

Non-vegan but professional & warm - Edit
The restaurant is back to being a non-vegan restaurant (I read that it had switched to vegan at some point.. maybe this information was wrong), but with lots of vegan options. I was somewhat disappointed because I wanted to have pasta and there were no vegan pastas, but the food I ended up getting was very good. Staff was professional and kind, and went out of their way to give advice about what to do in the area.

Very busy but way worth the wait - Edit
It’s a lovely small place, filled with locals rather than tourists. Owner is a true Italian with a passion for good organic food. The place was packed with people and some queuing. The food was worth the wait! Beautifully presented and very tasty, full of flavours. Service is fast.

This little restaurant close to the ponte vecchio is easy to get to, small and very well presented. The menu isn’t big but does contain a few vegan options. We had the rice, spaghetti, salad and vegetables plus the almond desert.

The service was very friendly, the place looks nice, and the atmosphere was nice and chill. However, the food wasn't special (tho nothing to complain about).

Small place on medium crowded street. Serves great Italian food. Most of the dishes on the menu are vegan the rest are vegetarian. The staff are really helpful and friendly. A little bit pricey but totally worth it.

Not the best, and manager mansplained... - Edit
I specifically walked about 2klm to try this place, and only had a brief time for a meal (before a show). The staff were very friendly and welcoming and let me sit down and wait the 15 or so minutes until 730pm when the restaurant re-opened for dinner.
Read moreThe menu (Italian, with accompanying English explanatory sheet) looked interesting, with a vegan entree, two insaladas and several vegan mains (pasta, aromatic rice or warm salad cooked in vinegar).
I chose a salad and the pasta - described by friendly staff as with pumpkin, aubergine, broccoli, garlic and hot peppers. The waiter said the salad would come first and I said something along the lines “oh, together is ok I have to go soon”.
The salad was ok - garden salad with some scant sesame and pumpkin seeds. Then the pasta - picture attached in pic section - plain rigatoni with a clear liquid (reduced stock) and a couple small pieces of broccoli. Nothing else. It was....plain. I ate some pasta and salad, and then asked for the bill. I asked for take away (so as to not offend!), and the waiter obligingly wrapped the meal.
For payment, the owner came to my table. He asked where I was from, and then told me that if I come to a different country I should eat things the way they do. That I should not have had the pasta and salad at the same time. An Italian would never have done that and Italians invented pasta and live with it every day. He said I was wrong to do what I did. I was embarrassed and quite shocked. I apologised and said I had only a brief time. He kept going on about it, and a woman (his wife?) came up and smilingly tried to stop him. He relented a bit and said I could have been his daughter (ie trying to educate me?). I told him, politely, I am forty. He seemed shocked by that....
Anyway, I ended up paying 28 euros for glass of wine, salad and very, very plain pasta which was not as described and then being told off like a child for daring to have it at the same time as the salad. I do appreciate this wasn’t the traditional way perhaps (which I ALWAYS try to stick to whenever I travel, which is often...). It wasn’t a very pleasant experience - most bland and disappointing food I’ve had this whole trip. Would have very happily let it slide but the unnecessary condescending dressing down made the whole experience a waste of $45 and my time.
Overall, left of an unpleasant taste (actually and metaphorically...). Everyone else there was lovely.
Pros: Nice setting, tiny and cosy , Staff very friendly and helpful , Service was prompt, polite and friendly
Cons: Far too expensive for what it was , Manager / owner condescending and rude , The two items I had were very plain

The food was very tasty and good quality, with local dishes. Not the cheapest place to eat, but well worth it.

Authentic regional cuisine in a cute old school style Italian cafe. Menu clearly labels vegan dishes and staff was helpful explaining. They even have an English glossary to help translate. Pasta and risotto were great!

Friendly staff and fantastic food - Edit
Went to this restaurant several times during my trip to Florence - it’s open for lunch and dinner. Plenty of vegan options and ALL vegetarian. They have a different menu every day which is nice. All of the food is interesting (rather than some of the nice but basic veggie food you might get elsewhere), especially the puddings!! Staff really friendly and accommodating. It’s relatively small and can get quite busy - we never had a problem getting a table but might be best to book if you’re set on this place!

Beautiful food - Edit
Loved this little vege restaurant. My boyfriend and I each had the truffle pesto pasta (which was recommended to us) and it was delicious. We also shared a salad to begin with (as the maître d assured us that Italians do not have salad as a side with their pasta). Everything was really fresh and the staff were super helpful explaining the menu in English.

Fantastic family-run vegetarian place - Edit
This little gem is off the beaten path but so worth hunting down. It's owned by one family who does everything from waiting tables to cooking the delicious, fresh food. I'm vegan but my husband is not so I love finding places where we both are happy. The menu is written in Italian only but they will give you a cheat sheet & translate everything at the table. We started with the chickpea flour bread/pizza - so good. Then I had the saffron risotto & hubby had the ravioli - both delicious. Then there was the dessert - ahhh, what can I say? Almond milk panna cotta covered in chocolate - beyond words! If you're in Florence, go here!

We came here for lunch on a Tuesday around 13:30 and they were out of most of the vegan options listed on the menu. The gentleman who served us told us he would make us a vegan pasta. It was spaghetti marinara which was nice. Cute, cozy atmosphere.

The service was nice. The food good, not great. The portions very small and in my opinion overpriced. It suppose they use just organic products, but I still found it expensive. We paid more than 50€ for two plates, one dessert, one bottle of water and two beers.

Good Vegan Options - Edit
Visited last week. I think about 40% of the menu was vegan and few more things could be made vegan. The menu is in Italian only staff can speak English if you need. We both had some farinata for starter, basmati rice with veggies as a main, and an almond milk dessert with dark chocolate. Portion sizes seemed about right, and the food was tasty. The only thing I wish I had checked was the water bottle, as I opened and poured it without checking the seal, and I'm not sure if it was new because it look reused and didn't taste like a new bottle of the same brand I'd had earlier in the week.
