The best around - Edit
The 49er has become my haven. I’ve been vegan for 16 years now and leaving all the options in the city of La Behind was tough until I found this saloon. The service is top notch, always great conversations and a jukebox!
Read moreThe spaghetti and meatballs is my go to along with a couple of vegan jalapano cheese sticks. That being said , the meatloaf is a must! Also don’t skimp on the side salad with their house made balsamic which I could drink by the gallon.
Side note - they will offer a vegan root beer float on ocassion if you ask nicely !

Amazing!!! - Edit
Full separate vegan menu with burger, spaghetti, grilled cheese, mozzarella sticks, fried pickles, baked potato, chilli, and so much more!!! The owner really cares about providing for vegan customers and was sure to emphasize that they use separate friends and spatulas. Lovely experience!

Separate Vegan Menu! - Edit
Didn’t go in with high expectations but was blown away by the full vegan menu! The waitress offered up a vegan menu option without us asking and she was super friendly and knowledgeable. There’s also vegan cheese sticks not shown on the menu yet. It’s rare to find an old school, historic bar with such robust vegan options.

Great vegan options! - Edit
So this place used to just have a vegan chef's special of the day but now they have a full separate vegan menu. I've had several of the items on this menu and they are all delicious. For a pretty meat-eating town this is a great place to get some vegan options. I'm very thankful for this

Super Vegan friendly! - Edit
Great place with lots of vegan options, friendly owner and staff! I had the vegan meatloaf and a vegan loaded baked potato which were both amazing. Would highly recommend this place!

Not only do they make a damn good Impossible burger on a separate grill than meat (can get with Violife Cheddar).... But they have recently added Vegan Meatloaf & Vegan Chilli. The Deep Fried Pickle Spears are also vegan & exceptional.

Vegan options available and served with love - Edit
At first I would run away because it felt not the good place for me as vegan but immediately the lady gave me a super warm welcome and ease my mind. The co-owner came to tell us more about his vegan options and is really enthusiastic about it. The homemade meatloaf was the best I ever ate.

Wow, just wow - Edit
Cute saloon in Acton with cozy atmosphere. The service is amazing and they have a fair amount of vegan options. I had the vegan chili and the vegan meatless loaf. They were both fantastic and made to order. Only been there once but definitely going back.

Amazing made from scratch kitchen - Edit
The vegan food was absolutely delicious and made fresh from scratch! I had the vegan loaf and green beans and it was an absolutely amazing dinner! The portions were a very nice size too. They also have something called the “vegan adventure” on the menu that I didn’t try but I will definitely be going back for! Be sure to ask your server about the vegan options because they have several options not on the menu.

Tasty and Friendly Service - Edit
They have an Impossible Burger with kicking veganese on their vegan burger which was a bit pricey ($16.5) but nicely grilled and tasty. They have a couple of choices as a side besides french fries: green beans, grazed carrots.
Read moreThe owner came to talk to us with their plan to expand more vegan choices. Acton is a small town, but there's Farm Sanctuary right there, so food conscious visitors will enjoy this place. The waitress was very friendly and professional.
